Elgato Key Light Neo with Monitor Mount, Studio Light

Makes me look much better on video calls for work. Dead simple to set and forget. I use on very minimum settings, light can be very powerful for dark rooms. For best stability, connect to USB power in wall, not in a computer or hub. The light draws enough power that on some hubs, it will periodically power down and turn back on again. I would recommend this to anybody streaming or working from home.

A fairly simple, straightforward product from a known brand. Cannot complain. No app or software necessary. Easy to set up. Solid quality. Gets the job done. And great controls for it to be as bright or dim as you may need it. All the controls are on the light itself. Set it and forget it.

I run a YT channel and also am a guest on other people's live streams. While the majority of my content doesn't require my face to be on camera, when I do interviews and guest appearances, I always want to come across with decent quality. I initially picked up the Elgato Neo Key light to go with my Elgato Neo webcam and mic for a specific nightime appearance I had on a stream. When I plugged it in and turned it on, I was impressed by the brightness and liked that I could adjust the tint and brightness all on the unit directly. I then installed the Elgato Control Center software and was amazed at the level of adjustments it had through the software. When I first bought it, I thought I was getting a key light with slight adjustments, but turns out this item has much more to it. It has resulted in me needing it as my only light. It brightens up my face and brings me into the forefront while still showcasing my background in a somewhat dim, yet viewable image. I'm super happy with the outcome. There is one little piece that may be a drawback to others and that's the monitor mount for it. It works great on my monitor, but it's basically a swivel u-brace. If you need to aim it down, you may have a stability issue with it, but it also has a standard screw on it so you could use a regular telescoping stand or boom arm for it. Overall I've been super happy with it and remains the keylight that I use in conjunction with my Elgato Neo Cam

Plug and play, really easy to setup, works via WiFi or pc plugged, has cold and warm lightning and brightness level from 0 to 100% all the way

It’s ok, but beware of a very annoying random flash if this is plugged into a dock that gets power cycled. It seems like it causes random bright flashes which can be annoying.

Works great. I’m using this as a backlight. I already have elgato lights so controlling all at once is excellent. The setup was a breeze

For the price, this light should come with a decent mount. I bought this on sale for $50, and it's not worth that at all even though the light itself is fine. In order to use the light in any normal setup with monitor or laptop, you WILL need a third party mount. The toy mount that it comes with is completely useless in any configuration. I'm considering returning it or using an extra mic arm that I have, but for this price it should included something decent. Your better off going with a cheaper non-brand light than this.

The Elgato Key Light Neo is a great option if you want a simple, affordable monitor light. The build quality is decent, which makes sense for the price point, but it still feels solid enough for everyday use. The controls are very easy to navigate, making it quick to adjust brightness and get the lighting where you want it. It also sits nicely on top of a monitor without getting in the way. What surprised me most is the brightness. For such a small light at this price, it outputs a lot of usable light and works well for video calls or basic lighting. Overall, a good value light that’s compact, easy to use, and brighter than expected.

Office worker here (not streamer / content): expensive however well worth it if you have a Stream Desk. New office area for me. With spring here and that pesky bright sunlight I needed a way to manage wash out & other visual annoyances without necessary closing blinds / curtains etc. Works amazing. Sadly, presentation still matters. And with the Stream Deck, no fiddling when "live".

Even around the lowest setting, it gives great coverage without other lights. I thought “easy on the eyes” wasn’t true, but my eyes are less strained with this light. I recommend!

Another great product from Elgato. Nothing new in that regard. I'm writing this review because I had trouble Wi-Fi pairing my device with the Control Center software on MacOS, iOS and Android and I hope this fix helps future buyers. 1) Install the Control Center software on your Mac or pc; 2) Connect the light to the computer using USB and the it should show up; 3) In the Control Center software UPDATE THE FIRMWARE of your device; 4) Disconnect your device from the computer and connect it to an appropriate charger to get it's full brightness potencial (USB is limited to 65%); 5) Start the Wi-Fi pairing process following the Control Center software prompts. I hope this helps!

Ich benutze primär ein Ringlicht für die Videokonferenzen. Da ich Brillenträger bin, muss ich es allerdings seitlich positionieren, sonst spiegelt es in der Brille. Mit diesem Key Light kann ich sehr gut meine sonst dunkle Gesichtshälfte aufhellen. Ich steuere beide Lichter über ein Stream Deck und das funktioniert sehr gut und zuverlässig. Das Key Light Neo kann ich dank Stativ-Gewinde auch sehr gut auf meinem Schreibtisch aufstellen und es ist nicht zu teuer.
