Useful for a basic spin bike
Once set up it is useful to help you make sure that you are spinning fast enough. I like to read or do crossword puzzles in the time between intervals. I was surprised to see how slowly I was peddling before I got the computer. It is also useful in the high speed intervals. All of the other readings are somewhat bogus. The calories index only relates to the revs of the flywheel and has no adjustment for the tension on the flywheel. The setup requires that the sensor pass within 0.2 inches of the magnet on the flywheel. My flywheel has most of its weight in the rim. This means that if the sensor is attached as in the manual it will be at least an inch away from the magnet. My solution was to use two twisties rather than the zip ties and attach perpendicular to the fork (this is impossible with the zip ties). Also, the computer must be quite close to the sensor in order to get the reading. (it looks as if 3 feet is the max distance).Another problem is the soft plastic that is over the readout. My fingernails scratched it and microfiber cloths work like steel wool on it.

It's ok
Gives time elapsed/remaining, calories burnt (ostensibly), speed and RPMs. You have to line up the magnet to the sensor which may take a small amount of trial and error. Make sure if your flywheel (in the case of a spin bike) is not metal on the outside to not apply the tape too firmly until you have the magnet and sensor aligned and it shows on the screen. There is no backlight. There is no wi-fi connection so you have to keep track of your progress manually and it doesn't synch with the Zwift or Peloton etc... apps. There is a way to adjust the "brightness" of the LED readout but it's clunky and actually pretty lame in regards to the difference between the lightest/darkest settings. My guess is that there is something significantly cheaper on the market that does the same thing just as well.

Accurate, easy to operate
My original computer (wired) on my spin bike broke - actually my kitten chewed through the sensor wire LOL. So I selected this wireless unit. I use my spin bike every day, after my morning training run, so a tracking computer is a must. It was easy to install, back light isn't bright but I have no difficulty reading the screen. The distance and rpm's are accurate (comparison with my previous computer timed rides), so the sensor is well set to read my wheel size. All in all a very good product, installation and operation instructions are well written and easy to understand. Now I am wireless, the cat will have to look elsewhere to cause trouble :)

Works, but rudimentary and overpriced.
This computer doesn't have a backlight and uses basic cadence technology without anything extra. I read another review where the buyer indicated that you can probably buy something very similar to this product at a much lower price - they are probably right. I've had some issues with Amazon packages arriving on time lately and don't want to be without a tracker for our spin bike, but if I weren't worried about the hassle of making the return, I'd definitely expect more from a cadence tracker at this price point a second time around. We'll be keeping it because it's here already and it works. That being said, it does what they say it will do. Perhaps the blame is on me for not researching the product more thoroughly before purchasing. I recommend investing a little more money into a better quality tracker if you're a serious spinner.

better than the top rated
I have a do it your self spin bike set up with Sunny Fitness Bike , A Peloton Digital Membership and this wireless computer. I started out with the Wahoo Cadence and Speed and they ate batteries and were so cheaply made that after the first battery change, they would never connect again. Super cheap O ring would not fit back in. This new Spinning Bio works perfectly....connecting immediately and very easy to install. Buy this one!

Would like to buy again
So far so good. But why so inconsistently available? It’s the recommended computer for our Sunny. I’d buy it again, maybe a dozen more for our fleet of spinners, but availability is spotty.

Works on our spin bike!
Works great for our wannabe peloton set up sans peloton(for now!) we have a sunny spin bike, and this we super easy to attach and get going, now we have a good read on cadence and mileage which is what we had hoped for! A backlight would be nice, but isn’t a dealbreaker for us!

Well that's a bust
Sad. They make this to work on a spin bike, but the wireless communication between the sensor and the head unit doesn't work when you mount the unit as it's designed. The head unit will only recognize the sensor when they are within 22 inches of each other. If you mount the head unit on the handlebars of a spinner bike or any other spin bike, the information doesn't transmit. The only working option is to mount the display down on the bike body somewhere which you're never going to be able to see while you're riding. Seriously? Shave $3 off your profit for a proper wireless sending unit and make a product that actually works.
