Great quality. Didn't have a clue how to install the gate but once we figured it out it was easy peasy. Looks sturdy and definitely worth the money. Definitely pet friendly as we got this for our 13 week pup. Easy to open and close and noise isn't that bad either. We will be getting another one for the top of the stairs so I do definitely recommend.

Wasn't expecting much from this for the price it was, but it does the job well and is as good as any other baby gate I've had in the past. Easy to fit and the latch is easy to use one handed. A clever toddler might be able to discover how to operate it but so far my puppy hasn't worked it out!!

The metal frame is decent quality and reasonably sturdy for everyday use, meeting my expectations. Compared to similar products, this pressure-mounted gates are great for renters and temporary setups as they don’t require permanent wall holes. However, I find them less secure than hard-mounted designs which need drilling and are less renter-friendly for energetic kids and top-of-stairs locations. I use wall cups for safety which also requires drilling. While similar one-hand gates and walk-throughs often have similar basic build quality some offer more robust latches smoother mechanisms and heavier frames that feel more long-lasting. We’ve been using it for nearly six months and I recommend it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly baby or pet gate that’s easy to install, especially in rentals. It offers walk-through convenience with a one-hand opening and adjustable door widths (with an extension, sold separately). Its best for use in doorways, kitchens, and pet-safe zones provided you measure your opening carefully and install the wall cups for added stability. It provides simple home safety without breaking the bank. But If you want the most secure gate, especially for top-of-stairs locations, or strong toddlers, I would advise consider other options. You’ll need a gate that can withstand strong toddlers pushing and leaning has a very wide opening (which might require extra extension or a larger model) and is better secured with a hardware-mounted gate from other trusted brand with stronger attachment points. Perfect... Strong and sturdy... Very satisfied easy to fit and secure.

Does the job easy to put up and take down. Easy to stop the puppy getting up stairs unsupervised. Good quality doesn’t mark stair walls.

Installation is only easy if your house is made of cardboard when it comes to the hardware install. You need a drill at minimum if your walls are sturdy. Other than that it seems good.

Great product, does what I need it too. Just don’t let your toddler watch you do it because they learn fast! He is unable to do the catch so as long as that’s on

The Regalo Safety Easy Step Baby Gate is one of those products that feels well made in terms of the actual materials, but let down badly by the overall design. The metal frame and fittings feel solid enough, and once assembled it does look decent, but the biggest issue is that it does not seem properly designed around a standard staircase width. With the included extension fitted, the gate becomes too wide for many stair openings, but without the extension it ends up sitting right at the limit of the pull-out pressure screws. That means it never feels quite as sturdy or secure as a stair gate really should. For me, this makes it hard to fully recommend as an actual staircase gate, because that is the one place where strength and stability matter most. I can see it working much better across a smaller doorway without the extension, or in a clearly wider opening where the extension fits properly. The problem is the awkward in-between sizing, so whether this works for you or not will depend almost entirely on the exact width of the area where you plan to install it. Another frustration was the locking system at the bottom. The two latches were unbelievably stiff when first used and took far more force than expected just to push down. They loosened up after a while and became easier to operate, but it still feels like poor design and quality control. Overall, this is a product that feels sturdy in the hand but oddly thought out in practice. Well made parts, poor design.

Ordené esta reja para mi bebé y tenía mis reservas ya que leí malas reseñas pero me atrevo a decir que no hagan caso a las malas reseñas ya que cumplió con mis expectativas, llegó en perfecto estado empaquetada, la reja mide lo que dice en la descripción (49”) incluyendo extensiones y se ajustó perfecto a mi espacio de 48.5”/123cm, es de metal, fácil de instalar y queda muy rígida y estable, siempre y cuando LEAS Y SIGAS las instrucciones y la instalen correctamente; vi malas reseñas en cuanto a que es difícil de instalar o que la puerta no cerraba por quedar una abertura grande en la puertita pero literalmente viene con VARIOS letreros en la reja, caja e instrucciones que dicen que la abertura NO ES UN DEFECTO y se va cerrando conforme vayas ajustando la reja presionando con la pared, solo tienes que leer y seguir las instrucciones y será fácil instalarla y quedará segura. Además de la cerradura cuenta con un seguro extra para que no sea fácil que un niño la abra Contras: lo único malo es que la puerta es pequeña y no puedo pasar la carreola por ahí pero eso es porque yo paseo a mi bebé dentro de mi casa, además de que es para dejarse instalada en un solo lugar porque no es práctico estarla quitando y poniendo, pero aún así 10 de 10!!

Bei unserer Tür mit einer breite von 85 cm hat es leider nicht gepasst. Mit Verlängerung war es viel zu breit und ohne viel zu schmal. Jedoch war das Produkt qualitativ sehr zu empfehlen. Preisleistung stimmte absolut. Daher kann ich das Gitter sehr gut weiter empfehlen sofern dir geeignete Türöffnung vorhanden ist. Der Umtausch verlief reibungslos! Kleiner Tipp falls es zurück geschickt werden muss(Prime). Nicht das Rücksendeettiket verwenden! Sonst fallen Versandkosten an. Bei Amazon persönlich anrufen und das Paket wird Vorort wieder abgeholt!
