Osmo Action Multifunctional Charging Handle, Compatibility: Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4

This charging handle, once paired with your Action 4 or 5 camera, becomes a media kit, similar to the GoPro devices. Control of the camera is from the handle, and the high capacity battery keeps the camera battery constantly at full charge, and it will do this for a considerable period of time, enough for a moderate shoot. How long depends on your camera settings of course. 4K video consumes a lot of power, and this handle is almost essential in this scenario. It is much better than just carrying a spare battery or two, but only in the case of normal shooting, NOT in water, or any other extreme environment. It is ideal for me, and the firmware update ironed out a few minor bugs. I can also use my Hollyland wireless mic, as the handle has a 3.5mm stereo mic jack. Build quality is very good, and it is very easy to use. I've used it only for a couple of weeks, but I wouldn't be without it now.

Bought to compliment our DJI Osmo 5 Pro. The perfect accessory that we needed. Allows charging of an Action Camera which extends the battery life alot. The size is perfect for using in hand and also for storing in cases. Functionally, it works perfect, with included buttons for recording and changing modes instead of having to touch the action camera itself. It's made of plastic but feels durable. Very easy to use and setup, pretty much plug and play.

Well built and lasts for ages

Wonderful - avoids the need for extra internal batteries on your Osmo Action (4 in my case). Easy to use. I find the startup button sometimes difficult to work but that could be the camera. Great to have a mic input too so got an external mic to use with the Osmo skeleton frame and shoe2magconnector adapter… but have to say have not used it yet! Note the USB door adapter for the Osmo that is included can be a bit fiddly to change back and forth - you need to remove it when removing the skeleton case. DJI could only make this even better by including a soft pouch cover for handle plus camera - I found one that works well enough.

This is ideal if you don't want to spurge out on a gimbal mount. Nice and compact with easy to use controls and it charges well, too.

The Osmo Action Multifunctional Charging Handle offers amazing battery life and ergonomic control of your Osmo Action 4 or 5, and works seamlessly with your device to create an ultimate recording solution. Almost all of the parts are high quality, including the buttons, connectors, rubber port covers and the Osmo Action Magnetic adapter is strong too. The tripod handle however feels cheap and low quality, with it sounding like an old car dashboard within less than a few days of use. I took this away on a weekend camping trip and within only a day the handle felt loose with the plastic creaking and squeaking when pressed similar to an old or cheap car. This has left me feeling thoroughly let down by DJI, as one of the main points with this Charging Handle is the ability to quickly deploy a small tripod, and also the fact that that plastic serves as a grip, so you cant avoid holding it. Overall the Osmo Action Multifunctional Charging Handle is a good purchase however some modification to the design is required for future models

Increíble !! Dura muchísimo la batería , lo único malo es el cable usb conectado de fábrica . Por qué hicieron eso ????? Si se llega a romper o descomponer el cable, tendrás que remplazar todo el dispositivo. Aunque es algo robusto no deja de ser algo de cuidado. Fuera de ese detalle . Todo es perfecto .

No uso la cámara ya sin esta empuñadura, que también sirve como mini-trípode para hacer timelapses, por ejemplo. Tiene bastante batería para estar horas funcionando sin preocuparte de tener o no batería, además luego en un par de horas está cargada.

Für mich als Vlogger und Outdoor-Filmer ein riesiger Vorteil – ich muss unterwegs keine Akkus mehr wechseln oder externe Powerbanks mit Kabeln nutzen. + Multifunktional und clever: Neben dem Ladefeature dient der Griff gleichzeitig als Stativgriff, was ihn extrem vielseitig macht. Ob in der Hand beim Filmen oder aufgestellt für Timelapses – alles möglich mit einem einzigen Zubehörteil. + Robuste Verarbeitung: Wie von DJI gewohnt, ist der Griff hochwertig verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und wirkt absolut stabil. Auch die Verbindung zur Kamera ist sicher – da wackelt nichts. + Nahtlose Kompatibilität mit der Osmo Action 5 Pro: Die Verbindung läuft über USB-C und funktioniert absolut zuverlässig. Die Kamera erkennt den Griff sofort, die Ladeanzeige springt direkt an – einfach Plug & Play. – Kleinigkeit: Der Griff ist natürlich etwas größer und schwerer als ein klassischer Handgriff ohne Akku – aber das nimmt man gern in Kauf für die gewonnene Laufzeit. Fazit: Der multifunktionale Ladegriff ist für mich das perfekte Zubehör für alle, die mit der Osmo Action 5 Pro unterwegs filmen, reisen oder vloggen. Er erweitert nicht nur die Akkulaufzeit, sondern ersetzt auch direkt ein Stativ – super praktisch und absolut empfehlenswert!
