My husband loved this machine. He makes small things like rings here, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to make small pieces. I simply don't give it 5 stars because this lathe does not have a low minimum speed. My husband had to attach a potentiometer to manage the speed of the lathe. The quality is very good. I recommend it!

What a fun tool! I have spent hours working on it since I unboxed it. I highly recommend it. It's well worth the money. I've made all kinds of bowls and vases as gifts. The nice thing is it doesn't take up a bunch of work space. Make sure to screw or clamp it down or it will walk away.

Great little starter setup for a 12 year old, when he gets the hang of it I plan on moving him up to more tools. Metal lathe and milling machine will be some of the tools I want him to learn on as well as the rest of my tools, Metal and wood, especially some welding skills
