Donner DEP-1 Piano Keyboard 88 Keys, Beginner Digital Keyboard Piano Velocity-Sensitive Keys, Portable Electric Piano with Sustain Pedal, Carrying Case and Keyboard Stickers

Well, I found out just how good the sound was on this key board at the butt crack of dawn one morning when my kids had a full blown monster mash on this thing. It was easy to put together and plug in. Thank goodness it was not as expensive as other keyboards but still has a great sound quality. We used it for lessons, but now that my son has been waitlisted, he still loves to use it. It takes up hardly any space and it comes with a nice case, so you can put it away if you are not using it. It's a really great piano.

Perfect beginning piano

Perfect for 7 year old learning to play piano and adult that is an experienced pianist. Easy to put together and not hard to move around if needed. Keys are slightly weighted which makes it nice to play. The ability to play with or without headphones is great. The quality, volume control options and book rest are great. Would purchase again.

I've purchased two of these keyboards recently; one for home use, and one for use in my classroom. This keyboard is an excellent price for an 88 key semi-weighted keyboard, but both keyboards have arrived with issues. The white one, which I ordered for home use, has a dead LED in the first number of the three number panel. As I do not plan to use any of the alternate sounds, I do not personally find this to be an issue worth submitting an exchange for, especially as I risk getting a keyboard with a worse defect, like the black keyboard that I ordered for my classroom. The black keyboard arrived with a faulty F key in the fourth octave, and is thus not usable for any of the many, many songs which require that note.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas two years ago, signed up for piano lessons through lessons for you and have not been disappointed. It was a great investment. She loves it wakes me up every morning at 6 AM. Playing the piano has learned multiple songs with her piano lessons and is excited to finally get her baby grand when she graduates high school next year.

Edit: I sent an email to the company. They requested we submit a video of the nonworking key. We did so, and they replaced the keyboard! Email turn around was a couple of days, but we appreciate them making it right. Based on other reviews on here, they seem to have had a batch with this problem. The replacement works well, so third time's the charm! I ordered my college son this keyboard for Christmas, since he wanted something portable and lightweight for college living. When he set it up, he discovered that the main F key didn't work correctly. We returned the keyboard, and received a refund instead of an exchange, because the original package included a stand, and Amazon didn't have that bundle anymore. I re-ordered him a second identical keyboard. Again, the F key doesn't work. I have reached out to the Donner company to see if they will provide any support, but I expect we will likely have to return it again, which is a hassle and very disappointing.

I love that it has an adapter and can be charged. That way you can move around and not be tethered to an outlet.

Hab E-Piano als Geschenk gekauft und bin selber begeistert. Am meisten begeistert hat mich der Klang des E-Pianos, was ich für den Preis nicht erwartet hätte. Lautsprecher sind top, man hört so gut wie gar nicht, dass sie sich in einem Plastik-Gehäuse befinden. Die Klänge selber sind den Instrumenten sehr gut nachempfunden oder aufgenommen. Wer an dem E-Piano was auszusetzen hat, der bemängelt Sachen, die man "erst" bei einem E-Piano in der doppelt so hohen Preisklasse bemängeln dürfte. (zu dick, tasten schlagen bei schnellem Spiel gerne und hörbar gegeneinander, Anleitung nur in Englisch...) Habe mich erst nach kauf mit der Bewertung des E-Pianos näher befasst und komme zum gleichen guten Bewertungsergebnis, wie alle im internet. Tolles und recht günstiges E-Piano. (So toll, dass ich für mich das DEP-20 möchte, dass es aber leider aktuell bei Amazon nicht zu bestellen gibt)
