Bought as a gift - my partner described it as a “light sabre cutting through bread”. Super sharp and the high quality we expect from Global knives.

An excellent addition to my Global collection. First used the knife on a still warm loaf and was totally amazed by the cutting power. Very easy to use, comfortable in the hand and by using a simple sawing motion using the knife's own weight and the super sharp serrated blade it produces a straight cut edged slice - excellent !!! Also looks great as well. Highly recommended - well done Global.

We did query the cost initially, but using it for the past few weeks has made us thankful we definitely made the right decision.

So what kind of fool pays nearly £100 for a bread knive? This kind of not so foolish fool. This is an amazing bread knive. We bake a lot semi commercially snd this thing cuts beautifully through any bread or cake Paper thins slices even with still warm baked goods. It is an expensive bread knive, but it is bloomin marvellouse.

just purchased the bread knife to add to my global collection. Very impressed. Does the job well, looks smart, and completes my set...(for the meantime) when I can afford to buy the meat clever I just might treat myself! Delivery and packaging all A+!

Very fine quality. Great for sourdough - and left-handers! As an extreme left- hander,I've found that dept-store bread knives are not bevelled finely enough for us to cut evenly. This one does - well worth the price!

I love Global knives - all of them. The value is phenomenal. This bread knife is no exception. It does a good job with bread but where it really shines - BAGELS! I have cut myself numerous times using small or dull knives trying to slice a bagel. This Global bread knife cuts them open with little to no effort. Very crusty bread - not a problem! I have had this knife for about a year and its as sharp as the day I got it so its very durable.
