Cable Matters [UL Listed] 10-Pack 10Gbps Cat6 Keystone Coupler, RJ45 Keystone Jack Coupler/Ethernet Female to Female Modular Jack in Black for Patch Panel, Wall Plate

These keystone couplers worked extremely well for my Cat6 cable installation project. I used them while running ethernet throughout my setup, and the quality was much better than I expected for the price. Everything connected securely, and I had no issues with signal or connection quality after installation. Cable Matters continues to be one of my favorite brands for networking accessories because their products always feel well made and reliable. The couplers snapped into the keystone plates easily and gave the finished setup a very clean and professional appearance. For the price, this pack is a really great value, especially if you’re doing multiple cable runs or setting up a home office/networking project. I am really happy with these Cat6 keystone couplers. They are doing exactly what I wanted. I have used two of them in my 10-inch mini rack. I 3D-printed a bracket for my Ugreen switch that has two keystone jacks (one on either side of the switch). On the left side of the switch I have one of these couplers with a Cat6A cable attached to a 2.5Gb/s Ethernet port on my router. On the right side, I have a Cat6A cable connected to the 10Gb/s port on the router. The 10Gb/s port is being used with an SFP+ to RJ-45 transceiver for a high-bandwidth uplink to the switch. I have had no issues with this setup whatsoever. These couplers worked perfectly and automatically negotiated the correct bandwidth. They get five stars from me!

Bought these slighter higher cost couplers based on recommendations and from the fact they are same manufacture as patch panel. Easily installed all 10, just slipped right in and super easy to pop out. Read previous post that couplers were difficult to remove from other manufacture. Did not test these yet as I have to wait to tear network apart and move hardware in rack. Finally installed and these just worked. No failures and so much easier than punch down. They all fit and easy to remove. Will buy more.

Needed to update our work network and I didn't want to buy extra tools for punch down blocks. Plus it is extra work to assemble them myself and there is a good chance I would mess some of them up and have to troubleshoot some bad connections. so I bought these, along with some 100' Cable Matters Cat 6 cables and some keystone jack plates. It all went together quickly and everything worked the first time I powered up the system. Getting all the components (Jacks and Cables) pre-assembled is a little more expensive but it was worth it for me because it was faster and worked the first time.

Second order of these and they work well. Item was packed with a heavier item and arrived with slightly damaged packaging. I’ll never ship items together again to save Amazon $$ on packaging if they can’t pack things appropriately.

When they work they are great. Had 1 that had faults on some of the pins which caused autonegotiate to pick 100Mb and was unable to function at 1Gb. I assumed faulty cable but cables tested fine with tester. Swapped keystone out with another and issue was resolved. Edit: Cable Matters reached out to replace the one that failed. I increased my rating to 4 stars for good customer support.

We moved into a new (to us) home a few months ago and this is one of the items that worked very well for me as I was building our home theater room. These jacks easily and securely plugged into the standard wall plates that I purchased and have been working well for me for about a month. If I ever needed more (so far, I have only used three of them) I would buy more. Hopefully, this review was helpful to you.
