I have been buying this brand since the beginning of time. Easy to install, now they make sets and even started to provide "privacy". Overall, very happy. Surface is nice smooth but not "slippery", thickness is just right, very well below rims of the case. They protect well - we all at my family had "direct hits" into the phones, and the glass did its work. Scratches - handled. Where it is challenged are two aspects: it's somewhat on the "weak" side and cracks more easily. So, on one hand, I'd rather have the hit absorbed and cracked than my screen, but on the other hand, a scratch from a key in a pocket shouldn't cause a chip like this. When tempered glass cracks on impact, it absorbs energy through the cracking process itself and distributes the remaining force across a wider area. If the glass were too rigid and didn't crack, more of the impact force would transfer directly through to the phone's screen and electronics. And with the small parts inside, it can be very damaging. The protector glass may be cracked, but the screen and parts inside are fine - they were protected. The other aspect is over time they show wear and tear, especially on the perimeter, so you need to put a new one on soon. I've made peace with that since the price is very reasonable. For 6-9 dollars you get a set of 3 screens with camera protectors that last about two years for us.

I like the security of people not being able to glance at my screen... a long-time paranoid IT security person. I have used this brand for several years. I had them on my previous phone and my wife's. My wife had an incident where something fell and hit her phone screen. The Ailun screen broke and saved the phone screen. I just needed to remove the damage protector screen and apply a new one. They are pretty easy to install. There are just a few things to do... clean the screen with the alcohol wipe, dry it with the cloth, dab off any dust/lint with the sticky tab, and use the overlay frame to make a perfect alignment applying the protector screen. The image is only slightly darkened by the grey tint, which I prefer. turning the phone a little to the right or left pretty much makes the screen dark. The glass is smooth and reflective, matching teh original glass gloss. . I have to say that I am glad this order come with three screen, because I inevitably blow it with one or two for them. I think I am just a klutse, and I live in a dry climate that seems to invite dust and lint to fall onto the phone screen before I can get the screen on. This time, I blew two of them from fumble-fingering the screen and dropping it onto the countertop trying to get it aligned. I have not yet asked Ailun to honor their offer to replace them for any reason. This is my 4th Ailun order in 4 years. It wouldn't hurt to ask! I do like these security screen protectors. Update: 2026-06-20 - Yep, I bought another one! I had an accident over the weekend, and the glass protector did its job by taking the hit and self-destructing. I also had a phone case on it, so the phone didn't suffer any physical damage. If you don't use a glass protector and have damaged a display, you know how expensive it is to replace it. I did 'waste' the first one... I can't seem to get the glass protector in place before something lands on the display. I can see little white dots landing on it as I'm trying to get it in place. I'm so glad they send three in one package! I still got a couple dots on the second one, but they are on the upper edge out of the typical 16x9 image area. I can live with those. I still haven't hit them up for that free replacement they offer. . I had purchased this for my new iPhone 17 Pro Max back in February, and I didn't think the phone would be subjected to an impact bad enough to damage it especially so soon. Best $10 investment for my phones, no doubt.

The product does exactly as it says, application easy to install and appears exactly as it should. I haven’t used a dark screen before so I’m not sure if this is normal but I can see some of the screen around the edges. One did come cracked. Fits well. That’s my only complaint, and idk if the screen showing some luminance around the edges of the protector is user error or normal. But do reformed. Just sucks that I paid for 3 and one was broken.

I will never buy from a phone store ever again or spend $25 on a screen protector again after finding these! The privacy feature is unmatched and works super well, I have 2 toddlers that have thrown, bit, and dropped my phone numerous times and it has held up perfectly with these screen protectors. The application process is super simple and it comes with clear instructions and fits my phone perfectly. I’m on my second screen protector ( first one lasted months and had to change after I threw it from a slide to concrete, which my phone didn’t break thanks to the protector!) and there wasn’t even a scratch on my phone itself.

So on one hand, these aren't quite as private or dark as something you might get from Best Buy. With that said, I did get a $30 screen protector from Best Buy, and it broke within the first 48 hours of having it on my new phone, which really upset me because these things can't be that expensive to make. So even though the privacy screen itself isn't terribly private compared to some of the other options, it does work really well. And the fact that you get three of them for this price means it's kind of hard to complain. If your priority is having a really dark private screen, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you just want relative protection, this is a solid bang for your buck.

I got bubbles on the first install. But it's functional as a bi-directional (is that the right word?) screen proector. It works side to side, but not top to bottom, and definitely not straight on (ha!). The first one was destroyed when I had to get my battery replaced, but it last easily 9 months. Tried to upgrade to a different, more complete privacy proector, and that broke today (June 3, 2026), so I am going back to this one. Good value for price. I think I paid close to $20 when purchased, which was still a good value for this 3 pack. Now it's even less.

Not easy to install it on the mobile screen, caused quite a few air bubbles… I am not new in installing these screens on my mobile, but really struggled with this one.. had one very minor damage on the screen guard which kept on adding air bubble continuously..

Good protection Good quality glass and protects well against scratches. Installation was simple, but I had to try twice to align it properly. Overall happy with it.
