I love my Sasaki Colorstone sapphire plates, but when my adult son moved back home and broke one, I looked for an everyday set to use in their place. I was happy to find these beautiful plates on sale for only $24 for a set of 8. I ordered them with fingers crossed because of the reviews which complained that one or more arrived chipped or broken. My plates arrived well-packed and in tact. They are even prettier in person than in the pictures. They are an incredible value. That said, here are my notes for the persnickety: * The individual plates are heavy, even a bit heavier than my other (Colorstone) stoneware. * The unglazed surfaces on the underside are a bit rough in places, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. I could probably remove the rough spots with an emery board, however, as could you. * There are small brown flecks in the glaze of some of the plates. It’s an aesthetic thing that shows they were made by hand. Not a big deal to me, but if you are bothered by flecks and variations in your tableware, it might be to you.

I was looking for plates to serve snacks on like fruit with peanut butter or vegetables with hummus and found these on sale. I was drawn to the blue glaze immediately. Despite the smaller size they stack well, have a good weight to them and are a beautiful teal blue color. They have a smooth glossy surface and so handwashing is just fine. The set arrived securely packaged without chips or cracks.

Initially ordered these plates for the aesthetics. Unfortunately, two of them had some defects. I contacted the company via Facebook and reported my issue. At the very least I was hoping for a couple replacements, but to my surprise, they sent me a whole new set. The representative was wonderful. My new set is PERFECT! I appreciate the quality of these plates. Very heavy/sturdy. They look EXACTLY like the ad photos. And I’m always receiving compliments on them. I will definitely be updating all my dish-ware to this brand in the near future.

Hab für 6 große Teller für 30,20 Euro hier bei Amazon gezahlt und bin sehr zufrieden. Schwere Qualität und find sie auch optisch sehr schön. Nachtrag: Hab danach nochmal 6 kleine Teller in Rosa und ein 18er Set in Blautönen gekauft. Die großen Teller können etwas uneben sein, ansonsten alles perfekt. 1 der Schüsseln aus dem 18er Set hatte einen Sprung. In der Lieferung lag eine Karte bei mit der man sich gleich direkt an den Produktsupport wenden kann per Mail oder Whatsapp ... wurde per Whatsapp geklärt in nicht mal 24h. Überragender Support, falls mal was nicht passen sollte! Würd sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Beautiful plates, LOVE the colour! They are a good size, and not too heavy. The lipped edges keep foods from sliding or getting pushed off of the plates. They are great for everyday use, & can also be used for formal dinner settings.
