Atopalm Daytime Undermakeup Moisture Cream, 0.02-Ounce

I have a regimen for my skin care that I have found very effective to maintain my combination skin. I am 49 and have had acne since age 12. I finally got it under near complete control a few years back by using the regimen on Acne.org, which entails generous application of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide combined with intensive moisturization. I've been living in extremely dry climates for the past 5 years as well, so moisturizing has become a key issue for me. The Atopalm MLE products (cream and undermakeup moisture face cream) are my mainstays for moisturization. The products claims include that they are soothing to irritated skin, which makes them all the more useful for preventing acne, which is aggravated by irritation and inflammation of the skin.I use the Daytime Undermakeup Moisture Cream as my last layer of skin maintenance products before makeup. It provides good moisture and a barrier to drying, while not feeling heavy or greasy. It is a good base for makeup application as well. I use mineral makeup and it goes on evenly over the MLE cream. Having said this, I should say that I actually prefer the sllightly lighter feel of the T'Fivve Daytime Undermakeup moisture cream by the same company (Skin Scientifica) but find its price prohibitive. Atopalm isn't cheap, but it is effective enough that I'm willing to pay for it. At night I use the somewhat heavier MLE cream as my final layer.I think my skin looks pretty good, thanks to having the acne controlled and staving off the drying effects of the desert with Atopalm's good products (and a few others).

I am 49 and have good skin. Sometimes, my skin needs more moisture and sometimes it doesn't. I figured with it being summer, I would try this product. It is a small size tube, great if you are traveling. It provides light moisturizing so I am not sure that I would recommend this for very dry skin or in winter. I know they sell an intensive moisture cream for very dry skin. I live in the northeast USA, so we have lots of humidity on the east coast. For those of you in dryer climates it might not work as well. Clean smell, hardly noticable.

This is the perfect medium to heavy weight moisturizer. It doesn't have a sunscreen in it but I know the Atopalm line does have products with sunscreens in them. So many of my clients struggle with breakouts, often from topical sunscreens, that I often recommend this product. The price point is really good and application onto a damp face reduces the amount of product you use - a good trick for those of us with oily skin is to also have damp fingers when applying moisturizer. Those of you using glycolics or retinols on your skin will find this wonderful to apply - no stinging or burning and it really helps with the flakiness. Also a plus, no fragrance!

This stuff is now my HG moisturizer. I've tried Cerave (broke me out), Cetaphil (made me shiny), Clinique Moisture Surge (too pricy), and a million others, but none of these moisturized my face how I needed them too. I'm on retin-a and have dehydrated skin and it's also acne prone, so having a good moisturizer is really important for me. I read about Atopalm from a message board and figured I'd give it a try. It's been perfect. Moisturizes very well, especially dry patches on my chin and nose, but doesn't make me look greasy. It absorbs nicely and has no scent. My only disappointment is that it has no sunscreen. But everything else about this is amazing.

Yes, yes, and buy this RIGHT now.This is the most amazing product I've ever put on my face! (Okay, outside of Rosehip Oil)No breakouts, smooth application, FLAWLESS foundation (that used to sink into my very small pores and make me look like a dry orange peel), AND it took two time-consuming (for me) steps and rolled them into one.So yes, I'd recommend this to anyone with dry, normal, or combination skin.You only need between a pea to dime -sized squirt of this cream and you're good to go!

Like this moisture cream - goes on good - seems to moisturize OK - Although I would prefer a little thicker cream and one that feels like it lasts a little longer through the day.

This is my all-time favorite light moisturizer for my face. I am almost 60 and have used it since 2009. Neutral smell, non greasy, nice after shower on dry days. My skin can still breath after it is applied. Pores do not clog. Lessens the fine lines around my mouth and eyes. Goes well under makeup, and just by itself.

Please read my intensive moisturizing cream review. This product comes in smaller ml amount however you only need a very small amount and it goes far and I highly recommend it. In fact Day Break need to show it off on their programme it deserves much publicity.
