Mallets made in USA, inexpensively
I use them as multi tasking mallets: small gongs, blocks, random metals & objects, etc. The shafts are a beautiful color & feel balanced. They are made by a small American company yet the global manufacturers don't match the prices. I can not speak to their durability as I have only been using them for a short time.

Just beautiful ... a great value ... made in Tennessee!
So good ... just the right balance and mallet-head firmness. Really makes the bell bars sing. And beautifully made right here in Nashville. Yay, Tennessee! Keep up the good work!

Won't hurt your ears playing Glockenspiel!
These are excellent mallets for the Glockenspiel to practice at home and not kill your ears! They sound great and are a good size. They also feel good in your hands and a great value for the cost. Recommend.

Not as hard material as described
The mallets look great and feel great, but the rubber hardness is somewhere in the “medium hard” range, rather than ultra hard. I was going for a glockenspiel mallet with very little contact sound but good definition – these are unfortunately not it. This is the first swing and a miss I’ve come across with Timber.

Mallets
I love these for my xylophone. And my hand drum. Would recommend.

Best hardness for bell kit
I’ve tried 3 different hardnesses of these for use with my school students. I think this is the best compromise of “audible, but not deafening”
