These have a shaped gusset that widens and narrows exactly where I need it, and is really comfortable. The front is supportive, soft and silky to the touch. The back widens nartually to the "T". The waist is wide enough not to cut in or slip down. My wife and I both like me wearing thong underwear and these are the best we have found anywhere. The range of colours matches my moods and the material even has a subtile "dotty pattern" to add to my wife's interest. I will certainly buy more of these and throw away many of my others.

The mediums fit but these feel more secure about my waist. I'm 5ft 8". 32-33 waist. I work out, no big belly, on the built side. Cover frontal area well. Pouch so genitals aren't squashed. Comfortable on the back. Nice breathable material. Very good. I recommend. Not boring either. Practical and on the sexy side if that's what you want. Wife liked them on me and she's not a fan of thongs.
