ShopWildThings Capiz Shell Curtain White Shells

I purchased this in Oct 2015, and just today (Dec 2017) finally had the opportunity to hang this now that the family room is remodeled and painted. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED that this curtain did not have 12 strands of 6 feet in length as stated, and that no assembly was required. This is the first time the box was opened, and what I found was the hanger bar with 6 attached strands, some only 1 shell in length, the longest being 22 shells long. None of them close to 6 feet, and half of the strands missing. Instead I have little plastic bags knotted to the hangers, which I figured I would have to manually hang....but nope, each bag had strand segments where the connectors were broken and can't be used.Did I mention being very disappointed? And because I didn't open this before now I'm sure my opportunity to return or get a replacement has passed. But I will try. Lesson learned: do not wait until a remodel is completed before a full inspection of a purchase. So very disappointed.Pros: The shells are beautiful (for the ones that I actually have) and exactly what I wanted.Cons: The strands are missing or incomplete in length. Very, very disappointing. :-(

Many of the shells were broken at the hole, at least one or two per strand. But it was delivered quickly and now looks beautiful!

Beautiful, but fragile which is to be expected. Did have to do some rearranging with broken shells but nothing to major.

These things fell apart so easy. The shells of course are natural and I wouldn’t expect much durability but if you use this in a doorway, a few weeks will go by and you’ll have half the strands broken apart. Luckily the crazy ex kept them so I don’t have to deal with it.

These were worth the money. They came wrapped well and none of the shells were broken. They were easy to put together and look amazing. I would buy this product again if I needed more.
