Supershieldz(2 Pack) Designed for Garmin Edge 1050 Screen Protector, High Definition Clear Shield (TPU)

I handle all of the screen protector installs for my family and have never had an issue. This install had you remove the bottom portion and then the top portion and then the middle. The bottom portion did not separate from the middle portion. The top portion separated from the middle portion. This caused issues with installing the screen and left marks and bubbles.

When I first pulled it out of the package, I felt like the others who reviewed this product: "It's not the same as other Super Shieldz products. I just figured out how to apply the older products with a bubble free result. Now I have to learn a completely different way to do this" with a much thinner product. Back to the old grind of trashing multiple protectors trying to get it right. Anyway, I watched the video tutorial on their website multiple times before making my first attempt. The package instructions were just not adequate. There were a few small bubbles but they disappaered after about 36 hours, just like they said in the instructions. Looks perfect now. No need for a second try.

This is not a tempered glass screen protector. It is very thin. I’ve bought so many screen protectors over the years that were tempered glass I think I assumed this was also one. I think it will probably protect against small scratches but will not give the protection against shattering like a tempered glass screen protector. It did install pretty easy. 3 stars primally based on thickness of screen protector.

The film is smaller than the full screen of 1050. The edges are not even cut straight, it looks like the manufacturer just used scissors to trim down from 1040, you can even tell that from the nonstraight edges.It is ridiculous to sell $8 for some makeshift film.

Not even close to fitting the edge 1050. Looks like a 1040 screen protector relabeled as a 1050 item. Stay away.

This screen protector is great. Fits the whole screen of Edge 1050 perfectly, and is clear and nice to touch. Does not distort the image in the sun.It was easy to install and the small bubbles that I messed up when installing just disappeared after a few hours.Love it and would definitely buy again.
