Awesome Batmobile for a great price!
Got this during an Amazon sale for 51% off, and it's totally awesome. This has always been my favorite movie Batmobile because it looks the most like a comic book version, and the cartoonishly oversized fin on the top really sells the fun-factor. It took me a minute to figure out how to open the cockpit, but once you find the hidden button (the two panels directly in front of the canopy) it slides open and closed with ease. It feels really solid and it has tons of details. My only nitpick is that the glow in the dark feature is less than great. I may just need to hold it under a bright light longer, but I didn't buy it for that reason anyway. Bottom line, if you're a Batman fan (either movie or comics) I highly recommend picking this one up. Especially if you can get it while it's still on sale.

My item was shipped on time and was in great condition. I believe that it may have come a little early. I was very satisfied with shipping and with the quality of the product The price was also good.

NOT As Screen-Accurate as it Should Be
There's a lot to like about this Batmobile. But, for as much good, there's an equally amount of bad.Imagine you're in the 90s and you hear the name Todd McFarlane. You're probably overcome with awesome, as this man created the absolute best action figures ever. Even a few of his "misses" were better than anything else out there. Not everyone gets their figure posted on the cover of a magazine and has the caption "This is a toy" alluding to the fact it was so realistic looking they had to tell you it wasn't a real person!A couple decades later, and I don't get that same feeling. Instead I get tired and boring sculpts. And extremely high prices. That is where McFarlane Toys has come since the glory days.McFarlane Toys made a run of Batmobiles over the past 2 years. Mind you, these are mass retail in which the price tag has stayed relatively reasonable at $20-30 for quite some time. Now McFarlane has produced no less than ten, closer to fifteen with price tags starting at $60 and the latest at $150!! Mass retail. Not high end collectibles. One of the biggest selling points is size. No, not the largest ever. But, definitely large enough to make collectors scratch their heads in wonder when contemplating WHERE to display them. And so many; so fast! But large does not equate to excellent quality and workmanship. And apparently, neither does a high price tag. This Batman Forever Batmobile is actually not horrible. But, the sad thing here us, it could have been so much better. Especially given the intended suggested manufacturer retail price of EIGHTY DOLLARS!It looks good on display. It even "glows in the dark". Supposedly. I'll have to wait and see how well it does, as mine has yet to shine. And that's where this fails. Miserably. It doesn't have electronics. The only "mechanical" to it is a push button to open the cockpit. Where it could have had actual lights and sounds; this does not.Screen accuracy? Not so much. As with the 89 Batmobile, for whatever reason McFarlane chose to do a one seater cockpit, making it inaccurate- a key factor for certain collectors such as myself who key in on accuracy and inaccuracies.Another oddity to me are the vehicle's wings. They seem thinner and cheaper than they should be, and while it does diminish the look some, it doesn't necessarily ruin the look or displayability.Bottomline: at $80 I would say it's a bit overpriced, but in that it's oversized, that may help the intended audience. Adult collectors. But, what about children?Kids love big. And this is pretty large. If the price tag doesn't put you off, then your little Bat-fan will love it!Overall: it's not horrible, but it should be better. 80/100Value: 60/100Sculpt: 73/100Displayability: 90/100Playability: 95/100

Great display piece
Nice vehicle, great display - a bit more plastic looking in real life than in display pictures online though
