Does what it should.
You may need an experienced user to help you utilize these with the maximum utility, but even though this is my first planer, it absolutely tore my lure off to the side of the boat, just as it should. You will want to figure out your own add-ons via the web and I have been pleased to apply them. Out of the box, it works. Sturdy hardware, too. I did not use the flag, btw, as I could see it easily without it. I will likely not buy the tattletale add-on to help see a strike as I have not needed it. Very nice tackle item.

Catch more fish.
These planer boards worked great. With every penny. Running 4 lines at 55 feet is no longer an issue. Able to keep lines trolling off to the side of the boat. Great product.
