Dragonfly in the rain on Mt. Langley
I used the Dragonfly for the second time on a back packing trip to climb Mt. Langley in Southern California. We packed in to High Lake to camp for the night. After taking a short break we started to set up the tent with foot print. Got everything done including guy lines on the rain fly except for one of the vestibules when it started to rain with fairly high winds. It rained for about 4 hours. The Dragonfly worked perfectly - we both stayed dry inside and were able to inflate our sleeping pads in the tent. It was dark when the rain stopped so waited until morning to set up the second vestibule. We did a hike to Cottonwood Lakes the next day for acclimitization and then the same thing happened - rain at ~ 4pm. Again we were warm and dry in the Dragonfly. Successfully summited the next day with no rain fortunately. Hiked out the next day.
