I became a fan of Mario Badescu products several years ago when I received some free samples and I’ve been hooked ever since. I like their products because they work. This product is meant to prevent acne eruptions before they start with this salicylic acid based gel. Just a thin layer spread over the acne prone areas every evening will keep your skin smooth and clear and acne pimples at bay. This is a very lightweight gel that absorbs into your skin quickly and it doesn’t feel oily, greasy or heavy. It will become sticky on your hands, so you will need to wash them after applying. I use this if I'm about to develop a breakout. I apply at night after cleansing and before my night cream and it stops breakouts before they even get the chance to start. I admit that I’m not regimented enough to use it every single night, but I find that if I’m particularly stressed out or know that I’m about to have acne issues, I will use this for a few days in a row and avert the crisis. This bottle is also a soft plastic and small enough to take with you if you travel a lot for work or if you want to bring it on vacation so you look your best for all those pictures. I actually have a couple bottles of this. I leave one in my “hotel bag” that I check at the hotel when I travel for work and I have one at home so I’m never without it.

This bottle is extremely expensive but to tell you the truth; I am not sure if it works.... The amount inside the bottle is too tiny.

I have been having acne issues in my 20s that no antibiotics were working and kept having to have cortisone injections for cystic acne which left depressions.. and even if a pore clogged but didn't form a pimple it would get red an inflamed and leave a scar for weeks. I have tried so many wayyyyy expensive things like $90 bottle to diy home remedies. This is the only thing that works. It prevents acne, it heals acne so quickly, and it fades my scarring. i added photos of my first week on it as a before and after, I had red puffy scarring and a cystic pimple forming just under my nose that never got a chance. I use it every night just on acne prone areas and I haven't had a single cystic acne since and I am so so so greatful. I should mention also that I do suffer from eczema as well as acne so oil and dry sensitive is reallllly fun. I break out looking at drugstore products. My skin loves this. It doesn't leave skin oily or dry and now I am confident enough to not wear makeup! Seriously it is worth a try, I know it may not work for everyone but just a chance that it works well for you too is worth itttttt!
