What's the difference between model 1404 and 1403?

Bonnie: From the Darn Tough web site and even on Amazon I don't see a 1404 model. There is a 1403 and a 1405 that differ from the area of cushioning. 1403 is bottom of foot only while 1405 is "full cushioning through entire sock". Hope that helps.

Hello, I ordered "Large" that was what was in my shoe size range. They fit perfectly, so if your shoe size range is extra large they should fit. I work construction in New Englang and work outside most of the year. By far the best socks I've owned.
