Raul: Thx Amazon and HP !
First of all, i wanna say thanks for the option to pay in monthly. Helped me a lot with my financials. SECOND: The laptop is an gift to myself, after years of hard working in the UK. Now when im back from work, i can play all my games on highest settings, at 144hz. The visuals from the RTX, are so realistics.. Sure , the outside of the laptop theres room to improvement, but the inside Config is an monster. Today i have finished the last payment, and im glad i have made this purchase(among another Laptop)

A fan of HP must be the silent type
Review after 2 days of ownership. Possibly subject to change. As far as spec. Very pleased for the price. Seemed like a great deal to me. Laptop is very heavy. But I won't be using it much away from the house, so not an issue for me. Screen is fantastic. Heavily marked with greasy fingerprints in no time. Possibly my main issue (though not one worthy of returning item), would be the backlit keyboard. The spacebar in particular appears as though it's been used heavily (although I'm sure it hasn't). But the backlight shows only about quarter way from left to right of the spacebar. Then there's a completely dark patch. Then a tiny portion lit at the far right of the spacebar. As I've said, it makes it look as though someone (or something) has been pressing hard on it. Although I can confirm looking directly level along the keyboard it's an optical illusion. Just a shame the backlight doesn't look so good on this particular key. Not a massive issue however. Fan is incredibly quiet. Not a sound with the graphics card not being used. But even when it 'kicks-in' it's still pretty quiet. Much more so than previous gaming laptops I've owned. Doesn't seem to heat up too badly at all. Battery life isn't the best. Haven't calculated how long a full charge lasts but definitely appears to lose charge relatively quickly and without heavy work or gaming. Overall, I'm very pleased. Especially for the price. But it isn't perfect. I'd still recommend. Don't think you could do much better than this spec for the price. I also trust HP as a brand, having used them many times previously. The additional headphones I received in a package deal with this product were an added bonus and are very good indeed.

Raw drive issues within 36 hours of use.
Initially really liked this product. Found the webcam procided a super clear image. The included headphones were comfy and had good sound quality on both the microphone and headset. Opening a few games from steam was quick and easy with clear gameplay. Issue was I started to get frozen screens. And then the black screen of death. Repeatedly. I only downloaded reputable programs such as Microsoft, steam, and Google Chrome in that time so likely caused by a problem with the device itself. More telling was that when I tried to ask amazon to provide me with a replacement they refused and said it wasn't an available option. I could only apply for a refund. There were still machines available to buy so that makes me think the build quality issue may be a known issue with this machine, especially with the very nice headphones that are thrown in. It's a shame as I really liked the machine until it very quickly died on me! It was quiet when gaming. The fans seemed to work well as the machine didn't overheat. Shame. I really would have liked to have tried a replacement model in case I was just unlucky with the build quality!

Issue with track pad
Have always avoided HP like the plague. However thought I would give them another go with this model. Got it and started using it, however the track pad physically wobbles and does not seem to be sitting right and there is a lot play. So I am returning it, this is probably something trivial for most, but as someone whos always had issues with HP I wont be getting another. Laptop is probably great from reviews. But this qaulity control no thanks.

Unusable for any serious purpose due to jumping cursor issue
I work in tech and have been aware for a while that there's been an industry cover-up for 15+ years regarding the notorius jumping cursor issue (as it would cost a lot to fix/use different components). It's pot luck how badly any laptop is affected, some generate the problem occasionally, others more often. It's fraudulent to release products with known faults, but HP are not alone, Dell have been doing this for years. A pity, as speed and general performance are fine. Not sure a jumping cursor mid-game is going to go down too well with gamers.
