IL50 Infrared Heat Lamp

LOVE! This is the 3rd I have purchased, and bought for a friend and family member. My hubby and I each one and fall asleep in front of them every night. I deal with numerous health issues at the moment and this red light helps with each one! Also, the first one I owned took away shoulder pain I had had for 2 months after 2 15 min sessions! Helps with recovery from any cold/flu speed up much quicker, decongests sinuses and all around is an amazing tool to have for self care and health and healing! 💯🙌

I bought this almost 2 months ago to aid me in my severe car accident healing quest. I have been in debilitating pain since mid July and it is now Mid Dec. i go to Physical Therapy twice a week and was wanting to do therapy at home because I was desperate for pain relief. I purchased this device end of October and have to say out of everything I do and have bought to help me, this is my favorite. Initially I used it twice a day- way too much because I believe you should not use it more than 20 minutes total each session this the timer—as I moved it from my neck to my shoulder to my upper back, then lower back then right hip- multiple spots and angles as I had multiple fractures in my pelvis on that side. I look a fool using a variety of things to set it on and also to set my body on. I don’t care as it has brought me the most relief. I only use it once a day now - usually in the evenings-and have added the other kind of red light/Infrared body panel to my daily therapy for morning. now I use near and far infrared. This device is still my favorite. I am having incredible results and my Physical Therapist is pleased. I am also beginning to Be able to sleep for short periods of time on my side which has helped me sleep much better. As a bonus, I was pleasantly surprised when my pointer finger returned to it’s normal size a few weeks after using this device on it. The hand specialist told me it was a burst joint fluid sac filling the finger and that there was nothing really we could do as it would just fill up with fluid again if we drained it. It is dried up now!!! I’m not sure if it will heal it all the way as it hasn’t been that long but I’m very pleased to have my finger looking feminine again! Infrared is supposed to aid healing on a cellular level and that is fantastic, because even though I cannot tell what’s going on on the inside, my pain levels are much improved and life feels doable again!!! I have sent one to my Aunt who has rheumatoid arthritis and very bad hands because she loved using mine. I cannot recommend enough and even if mine broke tomorrow, I would not hesitate to try and replace the bulb and if necessary buy a new one!

Solved my Kidney problems in TWO SESSIONS!! My kidneys gone from bad to worse over the last 6 months. Started with heavily foaming urine due to the kidneys not being able to process protein and dumping it back in the blood supply. Then the fatigue set in causing me to want to sleep more and more and feel like I'm dragging myself through the days. I tried all cranberry juice, hibiscus tea, herbal kidney formulas and other diuretics - nothing made much of a difference. Though high quality Red Korean ginseng extra did give relief as a blood tonic at least temporarily. A couple weeks ago I read an article on Mercola about near medium and far infrared. It said near infrared heat actually caused dramatic improvements in even later stage kidney disease. It was Mercola, not just any internet hype health site, so I started looking on amazon for infrared lamps, etc. None of the user reviews even mentioned it for kidneys, but it got so many raving reviews for other health issues I just bought the thing. When it arrived did the full 15 minute session. I didn't expect to see much improvement for the first month or so at least. But I first noticed a letup in that soreness in the lower back area where you feel the kidney pain. Next I went to the bathroom and the amount of foam seemed to be cut in half! After one 15 minute trial!! Towards the end of the day I tried it again, and NO FOAM whatsoever! And it's stayed that way for the last week. Every time I go I stare in the toilet in disbelief! The awful fatigue is completely gone and all my usual vitality is just there again. It COULDN'T be that easy - but somehow it was. All I can say is if you have kidney problems DEFINITELY try infrared saunas, lamps or the Beurer. I've NEVER had such a serious health problem get solved so quickly and easily nor even thought it was possible. For kidney issues I can't recommend this highly enough!

I've owned this for a couple of years and have enjoyed the instant soothing heat that it provides. It is well built and sturdy. I mainly use this in the bathroom and have it positioned on the counter pointing towards the shower. I turn it on when I get in the shower and when I get out a few minutes later and dry myself off, it feels like I'm standing in warm sunlight. No more after shower chill! It sits several feet away from the tub/shower, so it doesn't get near any water or near the sink and it is plugged into a GFCI outlet for added safety. This really should be a five star product review, but my unit has a particular quirk. It doesn't always shut off when the timer gets to 0. The picture attached shows the lamp still on with the timer at zero. The fan will stop when this happens and in a minute or so a safety mechanism kicks in and the lamp eventually shuts off due to the overheating. Since I always manually turn it off when I get out of the shower and never leave the lamp unattended, I've learned to live with it. I still highly recommend this lamp but caution anyone to test the unit's timer function within Amazon's return window. I discovered this issue too late to return the product. Don't hesitate to purchase one, but test it thoroughly and always use the power button on the right side to shut it off or simply unplug it when you are finished using it.. I think mine just had a rare defect.

I have the older model, but decided I needed one while visiting my mom, so I bought the new model for her house. I love that they've resolved the issue where it would come back on if not properly turned off and the house power flicked, thus resolving the potential fire issues. I'm sad I can no longer extend the time, but the lack of fire hazard is worth the sacrifice. We Absolutely love the lamps! We use it for any ache or pain, headaches, sickness or congestion, and it clears up acne and small wrinkles too. It even helped restore my atrophied eye glands to resolve my dry eyes!! My sciatica pain, which had been excruciating, was cut in half after one session! Of course I still had to wait for slipped disc to "unslip," but being able to walk and move again was wonderful! I just can't recommend this lamp highly enough. Four family members now own this lamp, and possibly more because several asked for the link after my mother in law opened hers at Christmas.

Lamp works very well. Helps with muscle tension and even helped my wife’s sinuses. Reasonably priced for the benefit received.

I loved this lamp for the week that it worked. It REALLY WORKS to relieve back pain - until it stops working. Just like any light bulb, the bulb will eventually fail, requiring replacement, some bulbs sooner, some bulbs later. I contacted Beurer about the "lifetime" warranty, and to see if a replacement bulb was available, as YOU WOULD THINK you could just replace the bulb yourself when it burns out. NOT SO! REPLACEMENT BULBS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM BEURER. If your bulb burns out after the 30 day return window, YOU MUST SHIP THE UNIT TO BEURER AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE AND ALSO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING!! So for me to ship both ways from Arizona to Beurer in Florida and back is $44 via UPS Ground. So, if you really want to use this for daily therapy you will NEED TO PURCHASE TWO UNITS, and be OK with paying Shipping to and from Beurer ($44 +-) when the bulb periodically needs replacement. So perhaps first year cost $65+$65+44=$174. STILL IS LESS THAN 50 CENTS A DAY - Likely cheaper and better than prescription drugs. Beurer Customer Service wrote: "This Beurer product is warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own the unit. Please note that the written warranty does not cover the shipping costs. We will be happy to replace the bulb for you free of charge, you will only be responsible for the shipping costs for both directions. I regret to inform you that we do not sell the light bulb for the model IL 50 infrared heat lamp through a third party vendor. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter. Please note that any attempt by the consumer to repair the unit or if to open the unit will effectively void the written warranty. " So - Its good - until its not. Then $44 bucks + - to replace the bulb and maybe 2 weeks without the unit while in transit and being repaired? SO the question is - How special is the Beurer bulb and can a third party bulb be purchased? The bulb needed is FSL 1512 made by Feng Shui Lighting in China. Die Beurer IL 11 macht genau das, was sie soll. Die Wärme wird angenehm und gezielt abgegeben und eignet sich sehr gut zur unterstützenden Anwendung bei Verspannungen oder Erkältungsbeschwerden. Zu Beginn ist ein leichter Geruch wahrnehmbar, vermutlich weil das Gerät neu ist. Dieser verschwindet jedoch nach kurzer Zeit und hat mich nicht weiter gestört. Besonders positiv finde ich das Schutzgitter. Es sorgt nicht nur für zusätzliche Sicherheit, sondern hilft auch dabei, die Wärme gezielt in die gewünschte Richtung zu lenken. Insgesamt ein hochwertiges Gerät mit guter Wärmeleistung und einfacher Handhabung. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann die Lampe weiterempfehlen. Preis Leistung war echt gut!

Extremely disappointed with the quality. The first item arrived damaged, and the replacement stopped working after a single use. I would not recommend this product
