Method Bar Soap, Glacier + Granite, Plastic Free, 2 bars, 5oz each

This soap smells so good and really lasts a long time! It's a creamy soap and feels like a creme body wash in a bar. Lovely scent! The bars last a long time and are made really well. Great shape too. No sharp corners and perfect size. I'll be ordering every scent! I love Method products and now love their soaps!!! I'm a huge fan!

This soap is expensive, but smells good, gentle on the skin, and does not just fall apart.

I'm looking for something to replace my lifelong use of another soap (the one with the dove on it) because Unilever needs to do better as far as cruelty-free products. I'm not looking for perfection here...just better. Anyone who's used that soap knows the lather (at the low price range) is unmatchable and the feeling of your skin is like butter so I'll try not to make unreasonable comparisons. Here we go! Smells exactly as described (peony/rose/salt) and it's heavenly but not overpowering at all. Great for layering, I think. I like rose but I don't love when it screams at me and the rose is there, but subtle. Once lathered the scent is much more mild, which is probably common with all soaps but I have little experience outside my lifelong bar. This lathers well (for not being the aforementioned example) and feels like a dense, French triple-milled bar. It's also HUGE -- almost twice the size of my usual. Saying that, it is a giant, off-white rectangular bar instead of what's advertised. May not be a big deal for you but I'm a textural person and I don't like sharper edges on my soap. And if I'm honest I wanted the pink color. It's a comfort thing. You get clean the way only bar soap can; I don't like body wash and if you're here you probably don't either. That said, your hands skip over your skin after rinsing instead of gliding the way (again) my old soap does. Not any worse than other soaps so if you're not a regular Bird user this probably won't bother you. I wouldn't call it moisturizing but I'm in a high-heat, high-humidity area so that doesn't affect me at all. If you're in a cold or dry area this might matter to you. This should be fine as I did something I never do and bought the lotion (arrives tomorrow). Now I'm glad I did -- I showered 3 hours ago and the scent is completely gone. I smell clean still, but no trace of the pretty scent we started with. If your life is hot and sweaty then you know perfume is the first thing to go but other products tend to last a little longer so I'm depending on this to be my scent. I also got the deodorant and it's a dead ringer for the Bird deodorant in everything but scent. THAT has lightly lingered so I've got high hopes for the lotion. One thing I did take issue with doesn't have to do with the company, but the packaging, so I didn't take a star off for it. We like this company (M) for being eco-friendly, cruelty-free, all the things. This thoughtfully paper-wrapped soap was then wrapped by the Big A in a plastic bag that was way too big for it, before also being put into a cardboard box. Considering the precariously packed cleaning agents I received today from a separate order this makes no sense. All of this company should be on the same page, no matter which fulfillment center it comes from. tl:dr Good soap but not a replacement for The Bird -- but a really close second.

Overall great product, I use their body wash but I bought these for my husband. This doesn't leave your skin dry, only smooth. I also love that their products aren't high on their scents which is very important for sensitive skin.

Smells great, leaves skin and hair soft. Very good lather. Good price point about $6 a bar Leaves my hair, beard, body hair soft and hydrated I do wash my face with this and it leaves my skin feeling soft, don't notice a burning in eyes either. I don't have any issues but I'm also not effected by psoriasis, eczema or any sensitive skin related conditions
