K'NEX - Thrill Rides‚ 6-Foot Ferris Wheel‚ STEM Building, Creative Construction Set‚ Ages 16+

This was an incredible build. All the parts.... The instructions very good with enough vagueness where you had the pay attention and think through some of the sections. Only three errors in the instructions. All and all an awesome kit.

This is a Christmas Gift and it is everything and more that I had expected. Lots of parts but a manual that guides you through the assembly procedure as all of the KNex manuals do. The fact that it came with free shipping was a huge bonus as it arrived the next day and I was not expecting it so that was a huge surprise also. We are looking forward to the building of this awesome 3D puzzle. Well here it is now two months later and we have built it. It took us three days, there were just two of us working on it, and it was a great experience. It is not for the faint of heart but one needs to commit to the full process and the result is beyond compare. There were a few extra pieces but not many and the manual was very good. only a couple of minor glitches that were easily overcome, for instance mistaking four yellow rods for the only four gold rods that came in the kit when it was time to begin the actual wheel. It was wonderful and friends have been awed by it. Great Job.

First off the shipping was fast! I ordered next day and even though it was late in the day when I ordered , it was here the next day as promised.I got this for my two kids ages 12 1nd 10 for Christmas 2012. We built it over the weekend. It probably took 20 hours. All of the pieces were there! It comes in multiple bags with a large format instruction book. Knex are always top quality products. This this is impressive! Huge! and just amazing. It has to be seen in person to fully appreciate its massive scale and amazing colors. If your a fan of Knex you will not be disappointed with this set. It will provide hours of great time with your loved ones. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone.

I'm 72 and was looking for a challenge. This was it, But......... it works. Amazing. I was short quite a few parts, but the KNEX site was very helpful, has a page that you fill out for parts you needed, and I received them quickly. Just for fun, I added battery operated fairy lights. Ferris Wheels are always lit at night right? I am extremely happy with this set, and plan on leaving it up for awhile. Be patient and follow instructions and you will be successful. Enjoy my video

I have purchased several sets of K'NEX over the years and have always been impressed with the quality and design of them. This set is no different...….EXCEPT...…..the fact that it is packaged in a plain unidentified box with only a bar code on it!! For an almost $400 price tag, I would have expected it to have been packaged in their standard colorful and pictured box similar to their other kits. Come on K'NEX, don't cheapen your great product by using a plain brown cardboard box!

Product works as advertised. I was disappointed in the ease of assembly thinking it would be more challenging. A lot of repetition in steps versus challenging build.

Edit: I decided to just keep on building. The ferris wheel came together even though there were a few issues along the way. If you follow the instructions perfectly, THERE WILL BE ISSUES, however, just keep building on top of them. My ferris wheel works and it is a sight to behold! Original: I need help with assembly and cannot find assistance online. The parts don't seem to align properly I am on page 32, where one assembles and attaches 23 (L1) and 1 (L2) beams of the ferris wheel. The wheel does not have enough space for all the parts. It requires about 1/2 inch more space than is allotted. I have inspected and all the pieces are properly connected. Please, help! Even a small tip may help. Having loads of fun otherwise! (I will certainly adjust the rating, IF this problem can be cleared. Thank you!)

I've Wanted This K'nex Set Since I Was 10 Years Old! This has been my K'nex dream set for VERY long time, but I've never been able to afford it 'till now! The K'nex web site has this set listed for $500. I found a seller offering this set for $199.99! I could not pass it up and bought it right on the spot! Amazing deal considering the price/piece-count. All of the parts in this set are the nice, old, regular-sized, K'nex pieces. None of the cheaper micro or "Brick-K'nex" (Lego-styled). 100% Satisfied with this product! 99% of the parts made in the USA as well!

Wonderful product! Took 2 adults 3 evenings to complete. Left us with very sore fingers. Probably should have done it over a few more days. It arrived in an old unmarked cardboard box, no fancy packaging. Also came with an electric motor but no power adaptor or connector. Was lucky and managed to find a spare 12v one at home that's compatible. It looks perfect with some extra led lights coiled around.

Amazing! What an absolute work of art! If you know K’nex, you will adore this. I now have one happy better-half who has wanted this for many years! There is one slight downside. It came supplied with a USA 110 volt power supply which would have popped here in the UK. Simple solution consists of buying a 240 volt AC/DC adapter. No great shakes. Everything else was spot on! Heartily recommended.

The box it came in was just a brown box instructions are a little hard to understand but not bad took 16 hours to build, and I enjoyed it
