Does fat drip through into a drip tray?

The fat run off stays in the hot plates runs to the corners away from the griddle/flat plate section

Will campingas work for this? I was brought this as a present and don’t really have the fund to pay for a big gas bottle! Thank you

Hi, yes it is possible to run this cooker from a small gas canister you just need the correct screw type regulator and some of gas hose. You can pick these up on line or in your local outdoor store. Regards

Do the grill plates fit inside when the lid is closed?

No. They go in the pocket on the bag.

Do you have to buy a hose and a gas cylinder to use this? How long do the gas cylinders last

Yes buy a hose designed for bbq gas and a regulator. Also purchase a BBQ gas bottle. Make sure your regulator is the correct type for your gas bottle. A 5kg gas bottle will last maybe 2years depending on how often you use it.
