These little sausages really do work! If you want to humanly remove rodent pests, you have to control their birth rate and these do just that. Rodents just LOVE these sausages so they really sserve as a great bait as well as keep control the pest birth rate. Reasable price and fast dellivery.

I have a minor rat problem in both my shed and attic. I began using Evolve a couple months ago. It is easy to put out, and I don't worry about my kids or pets messing with them, like I would actual poison. I've even cut a few of the sausages into smaller pieces and they hold their form. They get eaten nightly, which is great! However, I got tired of feeding the rats and I began putting out traps. I have three traps in the attic and three traps in the shed. At first, I was using my secret family bait recipe (peanut butter and chocolate chips) wasn't touched. Surprised, I put small pieces of Evolve Sausage on half of the traps. Now, every time I check on the traps, the sausage piece is missing, but I have yet to catch a rat! The traps with peanut butter and chocolate remain untouched. So, a few takeaways are: 1. Rats love these sausages more than traditional "baits." 2. While I continue to battle my rats, I'm comforted knowing they are not breeding, which would prolong my rat problem. I have not observed increased rat activity nor caught baby rats on my trail cam. 3. I'm at peace with the presence of these sausages on my property knowing that they pose no threat to people, pets, or downstream wildlife predators.

Something is eating them is all I can say. Whether they will work, don't know. Not sure how often to refill my bait house thingee. I'm gonna do it biweekly. My problem is outside during winter bird/squirrel feeding season. Rest of the year not a sign of them. Glad this exists as poison is a no no. Other animals are dying after eating a poisoned rat and that is unacceptable.

Looks as advertised, new, sealed, easy to distribute out of sight of other outdoor animals.. They are eating the sausages but I can not gauge how it is effecting them and the pricing is too expensive to continue the bait as an individual property owner. I will buy what I can to continue as an alternative to baiting them with anything harmful to the chain food supply for other animals.

UPDATE: I bought a few bags of this over the past couple years and it seems to work well when you use it correctly in tandem with other things like snap traps. I have chickens and ducks and we live in a very old falling apart mobile home so it’s not hard for rodents to find places to cause problems. My last review was pretty long and I’m hoping to shorten it and get to the points. This will not get rid of the rats alone, but used intend with traps and other methods can keep them in check in my case I live in the woods, plus the other factors mentioned above. I have to constantly be on rodent patrol. I have multiple bird pens and I’ve worked hard at making sure there’s no food spillage what I didn’t expect was I have the bags of bait inside a large plastic bag a Ziploc on a shelf in our building there’s a hole we have to patch or something shoot its way in when I used to keep food in there and no longer do now. We also have a bad habit of leaving the door to the building open because we’re constantly going in and out of there I went in today to discover. They like the bait so much that they ripped down and ate the entire bag. OK it was like 60% full at this point but still. So if you’re worried about them eating it don’t they will love it.
