Followed Manufacturer's Storage Advice - Every Marker Works With Dark Ink!
As I purchase many dry erase markers in bulk, I've come to know a few brands, costs, quality and so on. This is the first time I tried June Gold brand of markers. Although one of the boxes contained many markers with varying ink darkness, I followed the manufacturers advice to store the markers vertically (point downwards) for a few hours, then stored the same markers horizontally. What do you know, it worked...every marker that previously had light or faded ink, now performed like new as the ink flowed. Out of 72 markers, only one marker came dried out and could not be renewed. The manufacturer responded and acted quickly to rectify the issue. It is now 3 months later, and the same markers are performing fantastic. I highly recommend this vendor, June Gold, and their markers. The quality is excellent for the price I paid. If any of your markers have light ink, just flip the entire box so the markers' point downwards...let it sit for a few hours, then flip the box again to have the markers lie horizontal. Patience is all it takes. $14.97 is a phenomenal price nowadays for 36 dry erase markers that perform this well.

Does the job at a reasonable price
I bought these for my classroom. I teach economics and we run through a lot of these drawing graphs on whiteboards — so much so that I got cut off by the supply clerk years ago. These write well and erase well and I’ve been very pleased. I also got a set in blue and am pleased with them as well.My only complaint? Because of the volatile components in the ink, they can’t ship to Alaska, so I have to have them sent to friends or family before a visit and then haul them home on the plane.

Comfortable to Write With But ...
These are very comfortable in your hand when you are writing, and they do produce a very nice deep blue ink. However, the ink does not last as long as EXPO markers. I would buy more, so I am not saying that they are bad. I am a math teacher, so I use dry erase markers all the time.

Permanent ink -- DESTROYED my whiteboard
Unlike other reviewers who've noted a difficulty with their markers writing, we received markers that had no issue with ink quantity or flow. Instead, these markers laid down ink better described as PERMANENT ink, rather than dry-erase ink. Within just hours of using them, I tried erasing using a board eraser, but no matter how much I pressure I applied, most of the pigment remained in place, so the original writing is still visible, with some of it being smeared over the board in an ugly blotch. I made several attempts to remove it using board cleaner, isopropyl alcohol , acetone etc without success. The pigment appears to have penetrated deeper into the board surface. Unless I can figure something else out, my whiteboard is ruined. Strongly recommend against these damaging markers.

Dry out fast
These dry out faster than Expo brand. I am a teacher and use the markers on a daily basis. These work fine initially but within a short time they start to fade then fail. Expo lasts about 3 times as long, in my experience.

Gold winner
Hands down the best dry erase marker I've used. The design of the handle allows for me to write more naturally and smoothly. Upon arrival, first thing I did was flip all the markers heads down (after reading tips from other reviewers after their markers seemed faint and dried out when they first used them) and it made a big difference. With a box of 36 markers, I won't need to worry about driving to Staples every few weeks to buy more overpriced yet cheap markers.

Ideal for a classroom set!
I bought these to use in my 3rd grade classroom. My class uses dry erase markers everyday in most subjects, so we go through a lot of them each year (loose caps/dried out/pushed in tip, whatever a third grader does to need a new one). I ordered these to have a supply on hand at the beginning of the year. They arrived in excellent condition. I didn't try them all, but the ones I tried worked great. One thing I like about the company is they sent me an email telling me what to do to revive any marker that didn't work. It doesn't appear that I will need the instructions, but I really like the personal touch the company gave to ensure I was satisfied with their product. I recommend this product without reservations.

Great price for great markers.
I bought them for my niece, who teaches 2nd graders. She has 35 students and one for the teacher. Every time I ask how they are working, she tells me they are great. She says they are far better than the more commonly known ones the school district provided. She was having issues with those going dry, and even though the district just received a $24 million budget override, they cannot provide more than one marker per student, but they have a really top notch scoreboard on every high school football field in the district. Sorry, I got side tracked for a second. I will likely buy another box of 36 markers again, and would recommend these markers for anyone who needs dry erase markers.
