I was going overseas to play some shows, and wanted to keep my gear as minimal as possible. A wireless is required for my work, and the power supply Shure gives you is long, and has a clunky box in the middle. Yeah, I know first world problems and all... but in the day and age where PD is a thing and devices such as the Shure have somewhat flexible power options, this works amazingly well! I have a USB-C power brick with multiple outs - and plugging this into the wireless works perfectly! A genius product. Thanks!!

I'm using this with a small USB-C power bank. Works perfectly for me and provides the nine volts that I need for my application. I'm not sure if the ID of the plug is actually 2.1 mm or 2.5 mm (supplied documentation says 2.5, I think) but it makes good connection with my 2.1 mm jack. Seems to be well made.

Worked very well with my cell phone external power supply. Tested output with a Fluke volt meter and output was 12 volts — very cool.

Completely satisfied with the Fastelectric USB to DC 5.5mm x 2.1 mm Power Cord. I already had a car PD charger. I had a Exfo 715B OTDR that I needed to be able to charge in the car. I put the charger and Exfo 715B into Copilot and it came back with this cable and stated it would do the job. I have seen reviews of this cable saying the voltage is incorrect. These come in several voltages, and it makes me wonder if they ordered incorrectly or if the wrong one was sent. I plugged it into my testset and it was completely charged as quickly as if it was plugged into 110v.

I bought this USB‑C to 5.5×2.1mm “15V” power cable specifically because I needed a clean 15V DC output for my gear. The packaging clearly labels it as 15V, but that’s not what it delivers. I tested it with a Klein Tools USB digital multimeter connected between the USB‑C power source and this cable. Under load it consistently reports around 9.15V, not 15V. My battery pack’s OLED display agrees and also shows it negotiating 9V, not 15V. I’ve attached photos of both the package (showing “15V”) and the live voltage readings. This mismatch is a serious problem: Any device that expects a proper 15V supply may malfunction or fail to power up. It makes it impossible to trust this cable in a setup where voltage actually matters. To be clear, the issue is not with my power source — other USB‑C PD cables I own correctly negotiate 15V with the same battery pack. Because the product is advertised as 15V but only delivers ~9V in real‑world use, I cannot recommend it. If you need a true 15V USB‑C to DC cable, I’d look elsewhere.

Poor build quality. The adapter works but the USBC plastic sleeve separated after a week. It's secured by friction and doesn't stay secure.

I have been using the cable for about a week and got scared when i saw my battery randomly dropping, later investigating, I discovered the problem is the 1.35mm adapter making false contact and dropping the charge even though it was not charging anything. But I would re buy it for the other purposes :D one of the few ones that really work... apart of the adapter
