Very happy with this purchase. Already used it more than I thought I would. And I just ordered 3 collections of classic tv shows I grew up watching and this will be put into use with my Zotac ZBox purchase to watch them on the big screen. Really looking forward to that. Hadn't planned it when I made the purchase, but I'm glad I have it. The 3.0 USB speed is great.

Absolute piece of garbage. Completely quit working after the second time I used it: the disc is stuck in the player now, I can't open the door, even with a paperclip in the hole, and my PC doesn't recognize the device at all.

Worked for about a day, then wouldn't recognize discs

Cheap and reliable. It’s really all you need in these days. Once in a while someone with an old CD or DVD will show up and the drive is perfect for just that. Save the weight on your Notebook and use it just when required.
