Couldn'trecharge battery after one cycle, but the seller refunded my money then sent a new one.
Worked as advertised until the battery ran down and it would not recharge sufficiently to shine a bright beam of light. The seller was kind enough to refund my money although it was beyond the 30 day window for returns. Then, they sent a new puttlazr free of charge. What great service! I highly recommend this seller!!

OK, but probably best in the tripod, not on your putter
It does what it’s supposed to. It adds a decent amount of weight when clipped to your putter. If you aim the laser so that it hits the top alignment line of your putter perfectly, the laser will make a parallel line to where you’re aimed, but it will be slightly outside the target line. If you aim it so that it hits the target line perfectly, it will be slightly inside the alignment lines on your putter, creating 2 parallel lines on your putter. To double check your alignment, I prefer and old laser that I have that sticks to your clubface with double sided tape and has a thin wire running to a button that you can strap anywhere on your putter. It’s much easier to turn on without accidentally moving where you were. Maybe if it had an intermittent mode that would work.

Powerful laser
This is better than I imagined. Super bright in my house. As they warn, i doubt it works in the daylight in the putting green, but maybe as the sun goes down?? I think you need a line on your putter to get the laser perpendicular to the face. I’m lining it up with my wood floors and trying to memorize that position. Its amazing how the smallest change in ball position or hands can throw off the line. I needed this so badly. Super excited to get my putt count below 30. Thanks!

Save over a $100 Dollars
I viewed several laser putting aids online and found that most cost $100 or more so how could they sell this for under 30 Dollars? I decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. The laser is bright and the mounts do the job. The laser Putting aid featured in the 2025 PGA Show cost $149.00. Like this one, the laser appeared bright it had a stationary floor mount but did not have a putter shaft mount and appeared not to have angle adjustments. It did have a price tag of more than $100 over this item with fewer features and no apparent end-use benefit. Save yourself the money if it fails buy yourself 4 more it's the same cost.

Didn’t work for me.
On the surface this seems like it would be a great practice tool. Especially for the price. However when put into use it failed to pass muster. If you mount it to your putter shaft you can point the laser at the ball or target but as soon as you make your stroke the line goes all over the place so your not putting down a straight line. Anybody can point a laser at a target so I don’t know how that’s supposed to help with your alignment. If you mount the laser on the little stand you get a straight line on the floor but the stand gets in the way so you have to stand on one side or the other. Then the laser continues up the wall so you have to be careful where you set it up so you’re not hitting a person in the next room with the laser. I have sculpted carpet so I couldn’t use it indoors. You need a smooth surface. I tried to use it outdoors on a putting green but the laser needed to be up higher than the little stand allows then you could only see a line about 3 feet long. I have a construction level with a green laser and you can see that all the way across a house so this laser is really just for indoors. It might work for you but it didn’t work for me. I returned it.

maybe but not for me
It didn't work for me. I returned it. It gives what it is supposed to give. Yet, it isn't a great option for your putting exercise.

great quality, useful, helped with my putting alignment, I would recommend this item
This laser alignment putting trainer arrives well packaged, undamaged, and with all components clearly matching what is described on the product page. Overall, it presents as a well-thought-out and premium-feeling kit that is suitable for both beginners learning proper fundamentals and experienced golfers looking for precise feedback on their putting alignment and stroke—especially during the off-season or winter months when outdoor golf is not an option. Setup is straightforward and flexible, with two primary ways to use the laser. The first option is clamping it directly onto the putter shaft. This uses a jaw-style clamp that opens easily to accept different shaft thicknesses, followed by a secondary micro-adjustment screw that tightens everything securely. Once attached, the laser stays firmly in place. The most time-consuming part of this method is ensuring the laser is perfectly perpendicular to the putter face, though fine adjustments can be made using the ball mount where the laser sits. While this works well for most putters, golfers with larger or uniquely shaped putter shafts—such as certain Odyssey models—may find the clamp does not sit high enough, limiting this option. The second option, and for many the preferred one, is using the included tripod. The laser mount simply unscrews from the clamp and attaches directly to the tripod, allowing you to place it on the floor to project a straight reference line. This setup lets you address the ball naturally, just as you would on the green, while clearly seeing whether your backstroke and follow-through stay on line. As an added bonus, the tripod is versatile and can also be used with action cameras if you have the appropriate attachments. In use, the laser performs very well. The red laser line is bright, crisp, and easy to see even in a well-lit room, and it extends farther than most indoor putting setups would ever require. It provides an excellent visual guide for both alignment and stroke path, helping reinforce consistency and focus. The unit is lightweight, easy to move around, and quick to assemble, making it convenient to practice anywhere—whether in a basement, living room, or even during short breaks in a home office. Build quality is solid throughout. All threaded parts turn smoothly, clamps tighten securely, and nothing feels flimsy. The battery life appears strong, with no need for frequent recharging during regular use. One minor drawback is the use of a mini-USB charging port, which feels dated, and the kit does not include a charging cable or power adapter. While this may not be an issue for users who already have compatible cables, it is something to be aware of. Despite that small limitation, this is a very effective and fairly priced indoor putting trainer. It delivers exactly what it promises: clear alignment feedback, ease of use, and versatility. For golfers looking to improve their putting stroke, maintain their feel during the off-season, or simply get reliable alignment feedback at home, this tool is a valuable and practical addition to a practice routine. In summary, there is no perfect tool, but this is as close as it can. It helps with alignment and did improve my putting alignment. I would recommend this item to others.

⛳ Imagine the Putting Possibilities ⛳
Product: Red Line Indoor Golf Putting Trainer – Perfect Alignment Tool Delivered: Oct 7, 2025 Location: YYC _____ The intended purpose of this golf training aid is to help the seasoned golfer with putting alignment to the intended target line and on whether the putter face is squared to the ball on impact. The novice or beginner golfer may experience limited benefit with this training aid as their putting stroke is not sufficiently developed due to improper body, arm and wrist movement. However, this training aid would greatly assist the novice golfer with putting alignment after professional instruction. Mid handicap golfers would greatly benefit from this training aid in their quest to break 80 as most of the unwanted strokes are from putting. The training aid is well constructed using polymer plastic and metal components. When the device is attached to the putter, the Laser projects a clear visible line towards the intended target line. When the device is attached to the supplied tripod, it provides a clear visable line that can be used to perfect the straight putt, assuming the floor is level or to ensure the golf ball is starting on the intended target line. The laser has a 360° rotating head that provides many uses for this device to help with putting and the possibilities are only limited by the golfer’s imagination. Golfers have different putter swing styles but all good players square the putter face with the golf ball on impact towards their target line. The training aid provides instant feedback on the putting stroke to its intended target line. Adjustments can be made immediately to develop muscle memory on the putting stroke. If the golfer is confident on their ability to square the putter face on impact to the intended target line, the speed of putt for proper distance can then be adjusted by the golfer with less anxiety. A draw string bag is provided to keep the training aid and accessories together for traveling or storage PRO’s • Clear visible line is projected • Immediate feedback • 360° rotating head on laser • Tripod is supplied CON’s • Limited benefit to novice golfers Without professional instruction

Good Quality and Bright Laser Line
Package arrived undamaged and contained all the items identified on the product page. The seasons have changed and outdoor golfing is over for another year, now time to setup a mini putting practice area in the basement and hook up this laser alignment trainer. This is a really good product or gift for the golfer just starting out or a seasoned pro just looking for some feedback on putter alignment. There isn't much to getting started, you have two options of clamping it to the club or using the included tripod for a stationary line. Clamping it to your putter is super easy, there is a jaw like clamp you open up and insert the club shaft. There are two tightening mechanism, the first is the jaw clamp then there is a micro adjustment clamp at the bottom of the clamp to firm it up. The hardest part is making sure your aligned perpendicular to your club face, you can also do some micro adjustments using the ball mount the laser sits in. Personally, I prefer to use the included tripod. The top of the clamp that holds the laser just unscrews and you screw it onto the tripod. This way I can just set it on the floor to make my line they I can setup my putter normally like I would on the green. i can watch my back stroke stays on the laser line throughout my back swing. The power port is a little outdated with a USB mini input and it doesn't include a cable or charger. I have about a thousand cables of all types and chargers so I doesn't really affect me, I actually happy I didn't get yet another cable and charger with this thing because I already have so many. However, if you don't happen to have the cable or charger, you're going to need to get one. Functionally, it works as it should. The laser line is bright, easy to see and extends farther than you'd likely need to practice some indoor putting. The battery seems to last a long time, I haven't had to recharge it yet. The clamping device is manufactured well, all the parts that screw turn easily and clamp tightly to hold everything in position.

Love the immediate face to path feedback but like the tripod even more
Anyone who is a student of golf knows the term “face to path”. The face is the direction the club face is pointing: open (to the right) or closed (to the left) or square. The path is the direction the club head is moving: right to left / left to right / straight through. An open face with a right to left path will result in a slice. What I like the most about this laser trainer is that it addressed both. You can see immediately your face and path, although everything moves kind of quick. The hardware to attach it to your club is a bit too complex and heavy. I notice it when it’s on. It doesn’t seem to affect my swing but its heavier than when I’m on the course. Still, it gives me immediate face to path feedback. There are other, lighter, trainers out there that do the same thing for less cost. What I like the most about this one is the ability to mount it on a tripod. It allows me to concentrate on the path and then see if the ball is going straight after the hit. After all, hitting it straight at what you are aiming for is all that matters (besides speed/distance). Face is probably not as important when putting because you’re not hitting it hard enough for it to spin. If its rolling straight, your path was more responsible for that than the face. For $28 at the time of review, this is well worth 5 stars for what you get. All of the hardware is solid, the light is nice and bright, its rechargeable (although it uses a micro-usb 😒) and it all tucks away in a nice pouch. It even uses a standard ¼ in screw mount, so it should fit in any tripod. If you are looking for a laser trainer, this is a good one to settle on.

Can be distracting for some.
I have mixed feelings about this training aid. The Red Line Indoor Golf Putting Trainer uses a laser beam to indicate the desired putting line in a straight direction from putter (head) to the target (cup). The laser device is attached to the putter shaft and can be aligned parallel to the target. As you move the putter backward and forward in a pendulum stroke the laser will show any deviation from the desired target line. This may work great for some people who have a "straight" back and forth putting stroke, but some (like myself) have an arced putting stroke, and I find the laser to be quite distracting as the putter head moves in a curved line. Thankfully, this kit comes with a tripod on which you can mount the laser (instead of attaching it to the putter shaft) and you can now use the red laser line as your alignment guide. Any off-target putt will cause the ball to deviate from the laser line. The device arrived in a box that contained the laser, clip mount, mini-USB charging cable, tripod, soft drawstring storage bag and User Guide. They were encased in a foam template that kept them from moving around and safe from bumps and knocks. I have several putters and attaching the laser and mount to each of them was very easy using the clip and thumb screws. The laser came partially charged so I was able to test it right away. The red laser beam is visible both indoor and outdoor, but I think indoor gives better feedback as this training aid really needs to be used on a flat surface. It does not compensate for slope. The crucial putts are the ones within 10 feet so I will continue to use this aid to develop a straight putting stroke for these shorter putts in the hope that I can convert the bogeys to pars and more pars to birdies.
