Love the way that you can choose your lighting, big light, string lights or both. This is really easy to store and if you are having a party and not wanting to leave them up all weekend you just wind them back into the main unit and you are done.There is even a choice of how you power them solar or usb charging which would be very handy when camping. You get a remote control or you can control the lights from the main unit making this really easy to set up and useI did note you shouldn't get the main unit wet so when you are arranging your lights be aware of this, summer in this part of the world really can be 3 hot days and then rain for weeks.Really impressed with their simple design yet amazing features some may say £20 is a bit steep for garden lights but I think these are worth the investment.

I think it is really ingenious the way at this lamp and string of lights have been combined. It is very good overall, but what impressed me most is how easy it is to pull out the long, 10-meter string of LEDs and then quickly wind them away again without any tangling.The lamp unit is made of good solid plastic with a large solar panel built into the base. The base also has ports so that the battery can be charged from the mains and it can even be used as an emergency phone charger if they need arises. Indicator lights show if the USB or solar panel charging is active.The main light and string lights can be used separately or together. There are a wide range of brightness levels and lighting modes available. The string lights can be set to give a steady white light or a number of different flashing colour options to add a party atmosphere.This lighting can be programmed using either a button on the base or with the included remote control which also features a timer function.I think this is a great unit to provide a range of temporary lighting either indoors or outside. It is really brilliant how the string lights just wind away, allowing them and the lamp to be easily stored after use.

I got these string lights for the gazebo in our garden. 10m length was just perfect to get it around the gazebo, and I made sure that the lamp ended up at the top of the table- this brings in some extra light during the summer evenings.I really liked that the lights are solar powered, which means that the installation is so much easier. There is no need to bring a cable with mains. And there is virtually no energy consumption

I got this for a camping trip just gone so have been able to properly test it out.What I really like is that this is not only a good camping light for at night, but you can also have string lights at the same time. The string lights and really easy to take out, and then reel back in again. I found the battery lasted a long time between charges, but unfortunately my week away had so much rain then I just charged it up normally as opposed to trying out the solar charging. This really brightened up a rainy week and I can't wait to use it in the garden.

Its works a bit like a extension cable reel, in that the string lights can be unwound from within the casing of the main light.The main LED has a hanging hook, and a small solar panel - though it can be charged by USB-C and also provides a USB-A output to act as a power bank. Given the capacity is 3600mAh, its more of an emergency power bank.At 380g and only 14cm in diameter its nicely compact for camping. You can operate the main light with or without the string lights via the remote control or mode switch on the light.Only real concern is the main light with the solar panel is only IP44 rated, so not one to leave outside inn the rain for long periods. The listing does point this out Reducing rating to 4 stars due to this.

These string lights are really great for evenings in the garden or camping. They are easy to get out, and really easy to reel back in again without getting a tangle of lights.The lights can be set to be coloured of white, and 10m of lights cover a fair area.There is a solar panel on the back to charge it, and it can also be recharged by USB, which is great for versatility as they can then be used as indoor lights.The main hub with the solar panel is waterproof, but this is also the part where the charging ports are, and I'm not sure that it is waterproof enough to be left outside in bad weather especially for extended periods, but I think some light rain would be fine.

Probably my new favourite camping light, that is light, solar charged and super simple to use. This light is perfect for camping and placing around the entrance and making it look a little prettier and better lit. Simply pull the tab on the side to remove the strip of the fairy lights. Be warned, careful where you hold the case when removing fairy lights. It has to rotate to let them out. When finished it's simple to roll back up.The main light in the center of the dome is very bright when on. It has like the fairy lights a couple different settings including red light and flash. At the rear is a large solar panel which has a nice bright led to show when the unit is harvesting solar energy.It's a great product.
