Avengers: Infinity War Soundtrack

Alan Silvestri triumphantly returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Hearing his music accompany The Avengers once again in this final battle is amazing. Familiar queues going all the way back to Captain America and The Avengers pop up throughout the soundtrack.Most impressive of all is his music for Thanos. Powerful, menacing, melancholy, emotional. Josh Brolin is a force here as one of the best villains in all cinematic history, period. His off the charts performance is only enchanced by the music Silvestri has written to accompany it. Man, just wait for that Gamora flashback scene.Infinity War arrived with unrealistically enormous expectations, and somehow blew those expectations away and then went above and beyond. It’s an achievement on the scale of Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings. Silvestri’s powerful score makes it that much better.

Although the soundtrack for this film has the usual kind of "action music" one comes to expect from this type of movie, Alan Silvestri is one of the few composers who does it best. He has scored "Predator", "VanHelsing", "Back to the Future", "The Long Kiss Goodnight", "Contact", "Judge Dredd", "The Bodyguard", "The Mummy Returns", and many more. They display his fine skill and range. Unlike other contemporaries, he knows how to write a melody in addition to the required clanging and banging that all too often dominates the super hero films and their cousins. For those who are a fan of Alan Silvestri, I would say that this is a must. For those who enjoy this type of music in general, you can't go wrong. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Wow! This is a fun musical ride through the MCU movie of the same name. The CD is as well engineered as the MCU movies themselves. Alan Silvestri takes the movie's story and crafts an aural canvas that perfectly reflects the interest and depth of the characters in the movie. An appropriately dynamic and musically interesting score to accompany a very well thought out movie.

Alan Silvestri is an under-appreciated composer. I was thrilled with his work on the first Avengers film, and he certainly lived up to standards with the score for Infinity War. If you pay attention, each Infinity Stone has a different theme. My only wish is that the end credits music had been included, but it's a lengthy score, and well worth the purchase.

A beautiful soundtrack, one that takes in the varying themes of the Movie and brings emotions, raw emotions, to life.

FANTASTIC SCORE BY ALAN SILVESTRI, BRINGING THE HEROIC VIBE, THE HOPELESSNESS OF COMBATING AN UNBEATABLE FOE, AND THE POSSIBILITY OF HOPE IN THE FUTURE. TRACK 15 WHEN THOR RETURNS IS ICONIC. CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEARS FOLLOW UP.

Good start for a three part movie group of all the leading movies and their great star's . A must have to get the groundwork for the movies to come.
