True to its word.
My soon to be ten year old has been having a hard time going regularly and so I researched a few different things and this product came up a few times plus it was recommended by a colleague of mine. Well let me tell you this product works. I gave it to my daughter on a Friday night and by Saturday afternoon she was going to the bathroom. She did have to drink it with juice. After going twice within a five hour period she said her stomach felt better and she didn’t have to use the product again for weeks. Overall I say this product is worth the money and it’s easy to use and definitely does the job. It does have an after taste, I know because I tried it as well, I wasn’t going to give my child something without testing it myself. lol it’s meant for children but it did make me go twice as well. Mom tested, child approve.

Pretty effective if you’re kids will drink this
Like others, I had a hard time convincing my 3 year old to down this. The closest I came to masking the taste was mixing this into hot chocolate (and I mean heavy on the chocolate). Even though we didn’t get the full dosage into her system, the results were pretty decent. Her stools were definitely softer and there was less straining. I think the results will be there if you find a way to have your kids swallow this but it’ll be a tough sell.

Do-able Stool Softener
There appears to be very limited pediatric stool softener in Canada. In fact, you can't even seem to buy them in any local drug store. While my toddler (2 years old) doesn't care for it, he will drink it. We offer a small sized cup with 1 tbs in it. He drinks it in exchange for a glass of milk. We tried mixing it, but nothing masks the taste. As well, mixing it just means more foul liquid for him to swollow. This is at best, a do-able stool softener when prune juice and other options have failed.
