Doc Miller Open Toe Compression Socks 20-30 mmHg for Women & Men, 1 Pair

I was prescribed by my vascular surgeon to where these 30/20 compression stocking for the rest of my life. So obviously I needed to experiment with brands and order a ton of them. This set has been my favorite so far because of comfort and price. They last through lots and lots of washing machine washes (delicate cycle only!! And DO NOT DRY THEM) drying them (as my doctor said) will loosen the elastic some. So if they’re tooooo tight, then a run through the dryer will work for you. This was not my issue. They fit fine. When i need a snugger compression (bad leg pain days) I like the DOC MILLER brand better, but they’re three times the cost of these. These are perfect for everyday use and more durable than the DOC MILLER brand though. These are on most days my go to.

BEST. COMPRESSION. STOCKINGS. EVER. I'm now 38, but since I was 23 I have had to wear a compression stocking on my left leg mostly at all times. Blood clots completely took out every valve in my vein in my leg so I don't have a choice. As a young girl not being able to wear shorts or dresses because you were too embarrassed with your "grandma" stocking.. not so much fun, especially in summers in the south! Let me tell you.. i am IN LOVE with these! The 20-30mmHg compression is perfect. They are extremely comfortable and breathable yet feel durable. The band at the top is comfortable and does not feel too tight or like its going to cut off circulation! AND THE COLORS! I would feel way less embarrassed to wear these "exposed" in public as they definitely don't look like "grandma stockings"! Excuse me while I go buy more colors! :)

I love that these socks are toeless, which is hard to find in anything other than a tan or black compression sock. I have long feet, so when I order the right size for compression for my legs, the feet are too short. Toeless solves that problem and these come in fun jazzy colors. I do think they run small size-wise. The leg compression and size is great for me in a size medium, but I have very skinny legs. The foot part is way too tight, and I also have extremely skinny feet. I think I am going to have to cut off the part below the ankle as it is digging into the top of my feet too much. Otherwise, they are comfortable, and since they are nice and tight, I assume they are effective. I wear them for veinous insufficiency and hope they also provide some benefit for walking, biking, and weight lifting.

I love calf sleeves for long distance runs. I even like the full length compression socks. But I *hate* the part that goes over my toes. It always feels bunchy and annoying and I can't stop thinking about it the entire time I'm running. Ordered these right before a 100 mile relay on a whim and they are awesome! Pretty tight compression, had to really work them on. But the length from foot to calf was standard and good. I was certain that when I started running they would creep their way up my foot and settle all bunched up in the arch. To my very pleasant surpise-they do not! Stayed right on the ball of my foot at the base of my toes and did not budge at all. It was so perfect with normal running socks pulled over them (my shoes are too loose with just compression socks on). They are seriously the solution for those of us who hate the feeling of normal compression socks on our toes. Wish they came in a million more color and pattern options! I'll be ordering more for sure.

I am pleased to share my experience wearing these socks. They are the most comfortable, supportive for tennis and walking, pleasing to look at, maintain their compression after many washes, reasonably priced and just plain wonderful. I have been wearing compression for years for mild reflux, and when my doctor suggested open toe, 20-30 I came in wearing a well worn pair of doc miller that had been washed many times. He said both the fit and the longevity were excellent. In comparing the socks to other brands, the "packaged" sets stretch out after the first wearing and can rip putting them on and the expensive "medical" ones hold their shape but cost 2 or 3 times as much so I could only buy 1 pair instead of 3, washing them every night and hoping they air dry. Listen to grandma, she knows what's best. As a bonus, the seller is responsive and a pleasure to work with.

I'm 5'4" weigh 140 lbs 20-30 mm I bought size M and they fit exactly the way compression socks should fit. They are tight around the ankle for support and tight on my calf they way they should be. The size guide says I wear a L but I bought that and it was not enough compression plus they were too Long and went up under my knee so I am returning them. These are perfect for compression socks. I bought 15-20mm and I use them to sleep in. I wash them by hand with soap and use downy to keep the elasticity in them. I hope this helps. They feel durable I really like this brand.

I followed the directions for size fitting, however it came far too small. The open toed design on this product was poorly designed compared with other open toed compression stockings I've tried. The opening rode backwards on my feet and in doing so, it felt like it was applying a very tight tourniquet to them. They were on so tight, I needed to cut them off rather than roll or pull them off like usual. That kept me from returning them.

I've been wearing compression socks since 2015, and these are by far the best summer solution yet. These toeless sleeves are so comfortable. They are much cooler looking AND feeling than any others I have tried. I ordered 3 more in the next size up. I get compliments instead of funny looks now! People love my wild matching socks and dresses. I feel confident in sandals, and cool enough to go on about my day. My only complaint is how hard they dig into under my knees, but every pair I've ever owned has done that so maybe it just comes with the territory.

Where do I start? I have had perpetual swollen ankles due to long haul flights and sitting behind computers on hours. Not to mention varicose veins! Hence, I have tried many products. Either they rip while I am pulling it on or pull down after a while or when I am walking. They stay on, do the job and even when I take them off, my ankle never swells. Most importantly, one does not feel constricted or feel any pain from tightness. It feels as if one is wearing nothing. I only struggle a bit putting it on means people with shorter nails will fare better mind you. I had to order more just in the case they stop producing (as is the case with high quality products these days). Wish there were thigh high ones. Please Dr. Miller, make thigh high compression socks.

These have very good compression and I find them more comfortable than closed toe socks.

My legs get tired at night and had hard time sleeping. Since worn this proxy during days, it made a huge difference. A bit challenging putting them on and off as they are very tight. But they feel great once worn. I’m buying another one.
