Dorman 904-107 Diesel Fuel Injector Driver Module Resistor

Used the #5 in an Amazon special PMD relocate kit. And 2000 miles later it’s still working great. Zero issues. Would buy again no problem.

Easy to install if you have your pmd relocated. But it's says it comes with both but I only got the #9 which is the one I wanted but ya never got the 5

I had to hand file a burr off the edge of PC board so it would fit down into PMD without force. It does seem a little fat so the cable connector DOES have to be pushed on with force so it will latch to PMD.

The #9 resistor is a great mod for the PMD on the 6.5 TD (electronic injected). Install is very easy if you've already discovered the PMD MUST be relocated on 6.5 TD's. Old one pops out, new one pops in, easy day and easy mod at a great price point.

Had a new PMD acting up. Replaced the resistor and it works great. Fit was snug, but not bad. Not much else to say other than it does what it's supposed to. The #9 delivers more fuel than the #5 so start with the 9 and switch to the 5 if you wind up running too rich.

I am using both under hood, 2 pmds one for summer one for winter, truck starts better with the 9 but gets better millage with the 5 resister. if truck breaks down while wife is driving it she won't need any tools if pmd, just unplug from 1 and plug into the other and keep going about her business. I'm still waiting for the day she fills it with wrong type of fuel, because some things can't be fixed:)

The higher the number the more fuel used and the lower is better fuel consumption. It is recommended to have a resistor if you research it online.
