Ive used this in schools has 2 levels and usdd at home with my children too great way to engage kids while learning some sight words.theres letter slam or word slam.letter slam you have to press the missing letter and word slam you have to slam the spoken words both modes have level 1 & 2

Product is of good quality, nice size and lovely design, easy for little hands to handle. It seems quite educational, encouraging word recognition. The kids love it and still use it daily. Very happy. Item is well built so hopefully it will last. Have been using it for a month or so, I’m pretty sure this is going to enhance children’s reading, spelling and vocabulary. Definitely recommend.

This learning resources toy makes it easy to start thinking about spelling and can be a really effective way to get your child sinking about how to spell. The quality of the unit is excellent and the LCD display screens are easy to read and clear. you can even use it to play in groups and could definitely incorporate it into fun activities or games for groups of children.

The Sight Word Slam game is a great tool for building essential reading and spelling skills for kids. While it may seem a bit outdated without USB charging, the two game modes are simple and engaging. As a dyslexic who knows how painful it can be for a kids to learn, I think this could be a confidence-boosting way for young learners to practice sight words and phonics in a hands-on, interactive way. Overall, a solid educational game, if a bit basic. It may also be an encouraging tool for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities.

A sure good way to help the little ones recognise the letter ,words ,follow instructions ,etc. One of my son is 4 and he will start school in September and this is really helpful to exercise his reading ,alphabet,number and all these with a fun game. Loads of different activities ,pretty smart and accurate. Clear talking too ,easy to understand. Good one !

This is a fanatic resource for choosing time. The game is fun and educational but has really helped improve my son’s formation of words. Would recommend.

The audio is poor quality so not fit to learn from. Also American accent making it a poor choice for British children or children with other accents.

I've ordered this as a gift for a friend of mine who has two kids aged 5 & 6. It's probably a little advanced for my friend, the numpty! No in all seriousness I think this is a fun and educational toy that kids would enjoy. It needs some minimal setup, by adults most likely, as there is a battery compartment that has a screw closure on it so you will need a little screwdriver to open and close the battery compartment and replace the batteries. There are no batteries included and the unit requires 3 x AAA batteries at a time. Once up and running the unit makes noise - it has a speaker inside and plays sounds and music. There is no volume control or headphone jack so it is the one level of noise. It's quite loud and may get on your nerves as an adult (fingers crossed it annoys my friend tee-hee). Other than that it is a fairly straightforward letter/word quiz game for children. It lights up a little but not too much. The four LED screens are pretty basic but to be fair, the price is quite low at around 20 pounds (at time of writing) and I wouldn't expect a 20 pound educational toy to have four computers inside it. Overall I am perfectly happy with it. As I have just touched on it is perhaps a little basic but it is aimed at younger children so this is to be expected a little, really. I think my friends kids are at a good age for it (5 & 6 as I said earlier) and they will get a fair bit of use out of it I should imagine. Hopefully it drives my friend potty also.

Love this toy/teaching aid. Our kid thinks its a toy but its helping them learn. They enjoy the "games" the lights and buttons.

Es un jueguecito básico con un par de juegos de inglés y varios niveles para ayudar a reforzar vocabulario típico. Podéis observar un poco el funcionamiento en el vídeo que adjunto. Destaco las principales características del producto que considero importantes: - Tiene 2 modos de juego, uno donde pones la letra que falta, y el otro donde pones la palabra que ha dicho. En los dos se practica el listening, ya que la máquina dice la palabra, y eliges entre las tres opciones. Cada juego tiene dos niveles, fácil y avanzado, con bastantes palabras en cada uno. - Va con 3 pilas AAA y tienen pinta de durar bastante, porque las pantallitas monocromáticas no creo que gasten mucha energía. - Se entiende bien, buena pronunciación, y el sonido es correcto, teniendo en cuenta el mini-altavoz que tiene. Perfectamente válido para lo que es. A modo resumen, buen regalo interactivo y muy entretenido para los peques, y que les va a ayudar a coger oído mediante un juego, algo que siempre viene bien para reforzar el inglés.

My son likes playing this although he mostly guesses at it. I was surprised he learned how to spell some words as it becomes frequent enough to learn sight words. Playing it once in a while won't help in their learning but its better than playing on other devices which can lead to other apps opening when you don't want them to play certain games or watch certain things...
