Best Light Strip
I picked up the 10ft Solo strip to put behind a media console. It offers the premium Philips Hue color quality at a lower price point than their standard "Lightstrip Plus," but it has one major limitation you need to know before buying. Incredible Brightness: At 1700 lumens, this is significantly brighter than cheap alternatives like Govee or generic Amazon brands. It’s bright enough to be the primary light source in a dark room, not just "mood lighting." True Colors (RGBWW): This is a "White and Color Ambiance" strip. It has dedicated white LEDs, so you get actual warm soft white (2700K) or daylight cool white (4000K) for reading, rather than that weird blueish-purple white you get from cheaper RGB strips. Bluetooth Ready: You don't need the Hue Bridge hub to use it. You can control it directly from your phone via Bluetooth right out of the box. Value: It is cheaper than the standard "Lightstrip Plus V4" kit, making it a great entry point into the Hue ecosystem. NOT Extendable: Unlike the standard Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus, the "Solo" model cannot be extended. There are no pins at the end to plug in an extension. If you buy the 10ft version and realize you actually needed 12ft, you are out of luck. You cannot add to it. Cut = Waste: You can cut this strip to size, but unlike the pro version, you cannot easily reuse the cut-off piece or reattach it. Once it's cut, the excess is trash. Measure your space exactly before ordering. If you need to cover a long run (like a 15ft kitchen cabinet run), buy the 16ft (5m) Solo version or the Lightstrip Plus V4 instead. Do not buy two of these expecting to join them together—they won't connect. If you have a specific space (like a desk or TV stand) that is less than 10ft and you just want the best lighting quality on the market, save some money and get this. It looks amazing. But if you think you might want to expand later, spend the extra cash for the Lightstrip Plus.

Great for indoor accent lighting in tight spaces
These cuttable light strips are a good solution for lighting in unusual angles or tight spaces like the underside of a cabinet, accent lighting for a gaming desk, or even for non-UVA/UVB lighting inside a terrarium when properly secured. The setup is as simple as Hue always is and the brightness is, if anything, a bit excessive. It works VERY well, though the adhesive backing can be a pain to get off.

Wonderfully useful and beautiful!
I have three of these. One behind the TV and two on top of closet storage units. Creates a wonderful wall splash of color! 10ft is a great amount with room for more! Indirect lighting is a MUST for me.

Good value
The 33 foot led philips hue is the perfect size for a King Size bed frame, can do the entire underside of the frame with enough left over to go across the head board. Stickiness is holding, so far so good, but you can purchase inexpensive anchors if it falls off. App was easy to pair with device. Some of the automation features are behind a paywall though or may require an additional device. More expensive than other brands, but want to risk cheaper imported brands for this project and it pairs with Google/alexa ecosystem.

Great lighting for tough places, but might need just a little help
I've purchased 6 Hue Lightstrips. In my previous home, my living room had an open staircase on one side and a patio door with vertical blinds on the other side. I put my first Lightstrip on the side of the stairway. It worked beautifully! I added another above the patio door, behind the valance. My living room light was great! I added another in a long closet without a light. After about a year, the top end of the Lightstrip on the stairway detached from the wall. I used double sided tape to put it back. This home has a wonderful open first floor with a 10' ceiling and cove molding. When I put my couch where I wanted it, there was no place for a reading light--until I got a Lightstrip for the cove molding behind it. A few days later, the end with the cord fell off the wall. Someone tall on a stepstool added a couple of small pieces of Gorilla tape and it's all better. The Lightstrips also work as instant holiday lights! I've also gotten one for the cove molding on the other side of the living room and one for the ceiling in my bedroom, above my headboard. The first photo shows my holiday lights. The second shows the area that needed a bit of Gorilla tape

A Premium Smart Light Strip for Modern Homes
I recently purchased the Philips Hue Light Strip from Amazon, and I have been thoroughly impressed by its performance, ease of use, and customization options. As a smart home enthusiast, I was looking for a high-quality, versatile light strip to enhance my living space, and this product has definitely delivered. Compatibility Information: The listing made it clear that the light strip is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit, which helped me make an informed decision. Secure and Safe Packaging: The light strip arrived in a sturdy, well-packed box with extra padding to prevent any damage during transit. No Damage Upon Arrival: The product was in perfect condition, with all parts, including the power adapter, light strip, and connector cables securely placed. Premium Material: The light strip feels solid and well-built, with high-quality LEDs that provide a bright and consistent light output. It is a versatile, high-quality smart lighting solution that brings convenience, style, and functionality to any room. 🔹 Pros: ✅ Wide color spectrum with 16 million colors ✅ Easy installation and flexible design ✅ Seamless integration with Alexa, Google Assistant, and HomeKit ✅ Syncs with music, movies, and games (with the Hue Bridge) ✅ Reliable and consistent performance ✅ Adjustable brightness and dimming options 🔸 Cons: ❌ Requires Philips Hue Bridge for advanced features (sold separately) ❌ Can be expensive compared to regular LED strips 💡 Pro Tip: For the ultimate experience, pair it with other Philips Hue lights for whole-home automation and color coordination!

Great light strip, sorta mediocre adhesive pad.
Love this lightstrip - the only thing I dislike is the adhesive pad is not strong enough to hold 16 ft of lightstrip. Even with proper surface cleaning, it will eventually fall off. But the light itself is awesome. I've been having fun playing with the Hue Sync to have it change lighting with music videos, movies and especially games. Great product. Awesome range of colors and brightness. I would buy another strip even though I don't need it to link it and go across another wall.

Kind of ok intro kit; disappointing value, quickly outgrown
This is a ok kit for someone that has a very simple application, is intimidated by the idea of installing LED lights themselves, is willing to pay a $$$ premium to have their hand held, and cares a lot about arbitrary colors. But, the limitations quickly become apparent when you try to do anything slightly more sophisticated. Ways that I noticed this: - these are allegedly cutable, but when I tried to carefully cut mine at the designated location, the entire strip died and I couldn’t ever get it working again. I bought a couple of these and was very reluctant to waste $80 trying to cut any other ones, which really limited where I could put these / resulted in awkward wrapping back around to try use the full length. I’ve since cut other cheap LED strips from generic LED brands without any issues. The fact that Hue strips are so unforgiving really undermines their value proposition of being “beginner friendly”. If you get these, I would avoid trying to cut them and just find a way to use the whole strip. - if you manage to cut them without breaking them, you can’t reconnect them. This is a serious limitation - if you ever want to have a gap where there isn’t light (e.g. vertically between shelves, between cabinets, etc.), you can’t really use these. - If you want to be able to reconnect cut strips, you have to upgrade to an even more expensive option. Note that pretty much any cheap LED strips you can find for a fraction of the price of Hue can be trivially cut and reconnected. - the quality is pretty disappointing given the price. In particular, the spacing between LEDs is about 5.5cm, which is comically wide. I wish I had appreciated the implications when I bought this. It makes it very hard to get a uniform look without obvious bright dots and dark spots. This is true even with a decent diffuser channel or indirect application like toe kick lighting. You’ll still be able to see the dots reflected off the surface or through the diffuser. Again, especially if you don’t care about tone of arbitrary color options, you can buy a decent COB strip with a continuous look without a diffuser for about $20 for a 16 ft strip. - the app is surprisingly obnoxious, albeit because it’s trying to be “simple” and “user friendly”. In particular, I can’t just set an explicit color temperature like 2700K. I have to select from “scenes” with vague names like “jolly” and “fall harvest” to try to guess which one light have a ballpark temperature that I’m going for. I ended up escalating to Home Assistant to programmatically hack direct control of them, but there’s much cheaper lights that can be controlled with home assistant programmatically. Part of hue’s value proposition is supposed to be letting people avoid having to do that level of technical involvement. - the adhesive kind of sucks. I wasn’t expecting it to be great, but in combination with everything else, it starts to beg the question of where the $80 in value is coming from for most people. I’ve since switched to CCT controllable or fixer color generic LED strips which I can cut, combine, and control. This has been cheaper, higher quality, and more reliable than my hue strips. If you have an ultra basic application, tons of money to burn, and are intimidated by LED lights, this might be for you. But if you’re even a little bit technically savvy, I would encourage you to look into generic options which will offer more value.

love these lights!
these are great, so far i have not had any significant issues with the adhesive peeling off. i guess it depends on where you stick them (stuck mine on the back of my ikea desk) its really easy to connect them to the hue app via bluetooth, and once you do so its easy to change the color, brightness, and speed of changing colors.

El producto no coincide con la descripción
El producto no coincide con la descripción. Yo compré un producto con descripción de 10 metros de longitud de led y me llegó 4.8 metros. También compré otro con descripción de 3 metros y ese está correcta la medida.
