A really good ND filter that I use for Long Exposure work.
A really good ND filter, got this to help with some long exposure course work I needed to do and it works quite well, it helps allow me to keep the shutter open for about 4 ish seconds, which may not seem like a lot but it was really useful. It fits on my lens easily and it was also easily removed, it may be a tad bit expensive but K&F do make good products so I would personally recommend this as it has the same level of quality as all their other products. The spare lens cap is useful in case I ever lose my current one.

A reasonably priced and good quality introduction to the world of ND variable filters.
K & F Concept is a brand that I trust. I have paid for their stuff in the past and found it does what it says on the box and is good quality . I am a beginner to intermediate photographer who does photography in the middle of the day and rarely gets up for early morning sunrises or night shots. Having watched Youtube videos about using ND filters to be able to use slower shutter speeds on bright days to get that creamy smooth effect on the sea or flowing water I was keen to try it. I didn’t want to pay loads of money to get those fancy magnetic sets of ND filters nor did I want to carry a basket full of individual ND filters that you have to screw together to get the right effect. I felt that I probably wouldn’t use them enough to justify the expense. This bit of kit is a versatile adjustable filter that gives you nearly 9 stops of exposure reduction. The kit includes a square plastic box to hold the filter , a lens cover which attaches to the filter securely, a tether which attaches to the filter cap and also a vacuum packed filter cleaning cloth. The filter rotates very smoothly and has a scale on the side of it from min to max with about 12 dots to indicate how dark the filter has become when you turn it. I got the 77mm filter. You can attach another filter on the front of this one but it is a bigger size, in this case you need an 82 mm filter to go on top. It is easy to get carried away buying photography bits that you use once then put away in the box. I would say that if you fancy dabbling in the world of ND filters but don’t want to pay a fortune for it or have to carry a bag full of adapters and bits of glass then this is an ideal solution. I feel that for a relatively moderate expense you can experiment with slowing down your shutter speeds even in the middle of the day. I am looking forward to trying this out at my local seaside soon.

Incredibly versatile K&F Variable ND filter 77mm.
I am a huge fan of K&F Concept photography accessories especially Filters. I already have purchased K&F UV filters for each of my Lenses for protection. I have got several ND filter by Cokin and some from other well-known brands but one thing I dislike about them was colour casting and X patern in the image as well as being a pain to bring several ND filters to site and then change them during the photoshoot. This K&F Concept Nano-K series Variable filter has a huge range ND2-ND400 and it helps me control the amount of ambient light entering the camera sensor. Light reduction in F-stops is 1 to 8.66 F-stops hence it allows me to use large aperture to blur background for portraits and for Landscapes it allows me to use slower shutter speed to get water or clouds creamy smooth. Weather was not on my side so I had to just take a photo of clouds from my patio door as it was raining but I am looking forward to experiment in Summer when we go to the beach etc. ND filter is made of premium quality glass with 18 multi-layer coatings and it comes with a snap on cap as my 77mm lens cap for Nikkor 24-70 2.8 is too small after putting ND filter on. Cap is also built of a quality ABS plastic and there is a strap to attach so you don't lose it. ND filter has a thin profile and has all the idex markings to go from 1 stop to 8.66 F-stops and it is easy to rotate while composing a photo. Frame has ridges to increase grip so it can be easily mounted and taken off the lens. There is a nice microfiber cloth included too, to let you clean your lens and filter. I am very impressed with the quality of the images it produced without any art affects or colour casts. 5 stars 🌟 from me.

Slim variable density filter
This variable ND filter comes packaged in a plastic case with a clip on lens cap and a lanyard to attach to the lens cap. The lanyard is designed to wrap around the lens and attach to the lens cap letting it hang when not fitted. As most people will be buying a ND filter to achieve slow shutter speeds, having a lens cap flapping around in the wind is not the best idea! Ok it’s a nice touch for those who are prone to loosing lens caps, but from a practical standpoint it could ruin your image by introducing vibration. In the box is also a vacuum sealed microfibre cleaning cloth. It’s a pity that the cleaning cloth is not in a re-sealable bag to keep it clean after first use! On to the main item, the filter, it has a nice slim profile and the rotating section is smooth to turn. It is classified as an ND2 to ND400, which equates to 1 stop to 8.66 f-stops. The rotating ring has a MAX mark and. MIN mark, in between there are 12 dots. Now maybe it’s just me, but that is just not logical and does not indicate how many f-stops increase is required or how much ND is being applied. (Apart from the max and min). So you can’t easily calculate your new settings. It would have been much clearer if the ND rating or number of stops was marked on the ring instead. The camera meter should be able to work it out for you in some cases, but if your shutter speeds only got to 30 seconds it is a bit of guess work instead of accurate calculation to get the correct exposure. I didn’t notice a colour cast, but as I usually leave the white balance on auto and my camera is pretty good at providing the correct colour and I shoot in RAW it is not an issue for me in any case. This all sounds a bit negative, but they are all minor points that are easily overcome and shouldn’t put you off buying this ND filter, it works well and is well made and at the price it is well worth giving it a try. Recommend.

Good value VND
This VND is great. Colour shift is minimal and having such a wide range of 2-400 is excellent when going from bright sunlight to shade. A lovely bonus is it came with a decent lens cap with connector lanyard and a cleaning cloth. There is a slight X pattern when pushed all the way to 400 but that might be due to my use case as I have it mounted on a Moment 18mm Wide Lens on my iPhone 12 Pro.

Appreciate filter cap!
Great filter! Also has a filter cap which makes it so much easier to just put it on a lens and leave it on. Great quality, as always. I had another filter for my 85 mm lens CPL&ND and I’m happy with both! Recommended!

Encaja perfecto
Encaja perfecto en Sony cybershot hx350 y funciona bastante bien, acorde a su precio, una pena que no disponga de topes en mínimo y máximo, para no tener que andar mirando al objetivo.

Superb quality, great flexibility
Today I a reviewing the K&F Concept 67mm Variable ND2-400 Filter. I ordered this specifically for my Sigma 16mm f1.4. The filter comes with a lenses cap, strap, cleaning cloth and hard storage case. The filter is extremely well made! The glass has 18 multi layers to reduce glare. The frame is super thin only 7.4 mm and made of CNC machined metal. The filter ring rotates to give you the 9 stops of neutral density. I like this design as opposed to having several filters for each F-stop. I also find if you reduce the variable ring to a minimum you can leave this on most of the time during daylight hours. During use I found the ring super smooth to rotate and it has just enough friction you don’t have to worry about the ring slipping once set. K&F has always been a solid name in the world of photography and the quality of this variable filter solidifies that. I really like this filter! I highly recommend it if you don’t have any ND filters. Like I said I bought this specifically for the one lenses I have and I am very happy with its performance.
