Darn good perco!
My first percolator and should be the only one. This unit was designed for inductive cooktop. Heats fast, nice perking sound and makes a great mug of java and ALSO loose tea too. I’ve found that a filter is not always necessary as long as grind is coarse. Also starting with max heat as once its starts to perk slowly reduce heat and keep perking until getting to 2nd too lowest setting to continue perk for a great full flavor for coffee and tea. Easy to clean, use tung oil on handles and put in your will.

Good quality stainless steel construction .
Saw these percolators about a year ago but wasn’t sure it would work with induction. Checked again recently and they added a plate on the bottom for induction cooktops and can still be used for conventional heat sources. Glad I waited because they really did a nice job making these. Can make 4 1/2 (8oz) cups or as it reads 9 (4oz) cups which fills my quart travel mug+. Even though it’s my first percolator it was easy to adjust to. I use regular drip coffee grind without filter and it works and tastes great. Any fine grinds that get by stay in the bottom of pot. It comes with good filters if you prefer to use them. Best tasting coffee I’ve ever made. Bought one of these for my older brother to try and if he doesn’t like it I would keep as a spare. He says it’s the best coffee ever.

Makes great coffee
It makes delicious coffee. Perfect for our camping trip. It made about 3 16 oz coffees per pot. It is heavy duty and beautiful looking. Nobody could believe it was only $39.

This is a good coffee pot.
A good coffee pot. Good materials. Works fine on a smooth stove top or over flame.

Induction compatible; several design flaws
The percolator heats water promptly on our new induction stove. I like the stainless steel and glass materials. While the COLETTI claims to be a 9-cup pot (and I know that coffee "cups" are less than 8 ounces), the "9-cup" volume goes to the "8 cup" marker on our old Farberware pot. That's a problem for us, because we really wanted a larger pot than the old one. The cup volume markings on the outside of the pot are almost invisible on the inside, making it tricky to measure water. The handle is attached at the top and the bottom. I prefer a handle attached only at the top, so I can slide my hand up to grasp the handle. COLETTI instructions say to stick your thumb under the hinge to the lid to keep it in place when pouring brewed coffee. But that hinge is hot then.

Reliable and Sturdy Percolator for Coffee Lovers on the Go
As an avid camper and someone who loves strong coffee, I was excited to try out the COLETTI Bozeman 9 Cup Coffee Maker. I needed a coffee maker that could handle various cooking methods, from open fire to stove, and one that was built tough enough for outdoor adventures. This percolator promised to be the perfect addition to my camping gear, so I gave it a go on a recent trip.Experience with the Product: The COLETTI Bozeman lives up to its promise. I used it over a campfire one morning, then on a propane stove the next. No matter the heat source, it brewed consistently bold coffee every time. It’s definitely a step up from instant coffee, which is a relief for coffee lovers like me! The design is all stainless steel, which means no cheap plastic parts to worry about. It feels solid in your hand and cleans up easily with just a quick rinse. One thing I really appreciated was the versatility. Whether you’re camping, hiking, or even using it at home on the stovetop or induction, this coffee pot handles it all. It's great knowing I have one reliable tool for multiple situations. The percolation process is satisfying to watch, and it really does brew a stronger cup than many other methods.Benefits and Drawbacks: Benefits: Durable and Plastic-Free: Made of stainless steel, this percolator is built to last without any of the plastic components found in many other options. Multiple Heat Sources: Whether you’re using a fire, stove, or induction cooktop, this coffee maker handles them all effortlessly. Easy to Clean: A quick rinse after use is usually all that’s needed to keep it in great shape, even after a messy campsite. Brews Bold Coffee: It delivers a rich, strong flavor that you just don’t get from instant coffee or other camp-friendly brewing methods.Drawbacks: Handles Get Hot: While the percolator works great over an open flame, the handles can get quite hot. I had to use a cloth or mitt to avoid burning my hand. Capacity: While it brews 9 cups, it’s more like 4-5 larger camping mugs, so keep that in mind if you’re sharing with a group. Conclusion: If you love camping and crave a bold, fresh cup of coffee in the wild, the COLETTI Bozeman is a fantastic choice. It’s durable, versatile, and brews the kind of strong coffee that you’ll appreciate early in the morning after a long night under the stars. I highly recommend it for any outdoor enthusiast or anyone who wants a reliable percolator for their kitchen or next camping trip. Just be mindful of the hot handles!
