Chiron: The Wisdom of a Deeply Open Heart

An amazing book for the conscious individual who is ready to deal with their core wound.
This book is without a doubt a product of sheer genius regarding human psychology, purpose, karma, destiny, wounding, healing and so much more. It basically explores the depths of consciousness and soul purpose, as symbolized of course by Chiron. It takes a true visionary to write this kind of text, and no, I'm not gushing. I understand another reviewer's issue with some of the highly abstract writing, and I must say that I can see how it would cause confusion and how it may be improved upon, but regardless--this author knows what he is writing about. His understanding of the deeper truths related to Chiron are profound, penetrating, truly awe-inspiring and show a great deal of self-awareness and realness on his part. He is a medicine man in the truest sense. I also agree with another reviewer that this book is not for the fainthearted or for those that have no prior experience with reading about Chiron or working with their deepest, patterned, ever-arising and ever-present, most original wound--that depicted by their Chiron sign, placement and aspects--for Chiron is no joke, and the essence of ourselves this planetary body forces us to get in touch with when we are at rock bottom will no doubt breed utter confusion and fear by virtue of Chiron's (and the dismantling of our facades') world-shattering, self-shattering nature. I am grateful to Adam for writing this book. It has helped me so much and validated a lot of my feelings. The Chiron "medicine walk" will force you to go it alone, even as you heal by opening your heart to others, because this is your wound to deal with; only YOU can realize who and what you really are. This medicine walk will also help you extract yourself from the shallow bondages of society. You are an amazing being... open your heart and be honest with yourself every step of the way. The "no-path" to yourself will unfold.

Advanced students and practitioners
I had not done much work with Chiron and since I have it prominently placed in my chart, I wanted to know more. This brief book is, I would say, more for people who have at least a basic grounding with Chiron. The book is written from the point of view of so-called Soul Astrology and deals most heavily with karmic issues. It is loaded with jargon and abstract philosophical language which I have always found unnecessarily circular. I like direct, concrete language. That being said, the author has an interesting take on the "Sacred Wound" and the karmic path that is illuminated by the placement of Chiron in the natal chart, if one is moved to take it. It's not for everyone. It's short, so even if it doesn't serve your needs, it's still a worthwhile read for the time spent.

Heart-opening
It is rare that a book delivers experientially on the promise of its title, but this book achieves that sublime goal. Rather than just taking in material intellectually, I felt my heart open deeply with Gainburg's tenderly penetrating treatment. He offers deep wisdom humbly, respecting his reader's wisdom, and in this he feels near, connected empathically, as he writes. Very grateful for this work.

The Greatest Arsenal
This book on Chiron is an immense support when working with people who are ready to work with themselves. It is like the little black bag that the physicians would use, this would be what to put in it.Don't let the simplicity fool you. This book is a direct hit. It enables you to come to terms with the core issues that require awareness. Once you are able to identify, which Adam clearly has been able to do, the pain in which we are reacting from we can forge ahead on our soul's journey.Adam moves Astrology from a psychological interpretation to a spiritual tool. He is ahead of his time. His work on nodal astrology is a perfect combination with his Chiron work for anyone who has the courage to take responsiblity for their life's purpose.

"soulsign" is not astrology
I was quite disappointed around the "soulsign" vocabulary and "theory", when this has been labeled and sold as an astrology book. The astrology tradition is so much vaster, detailed, esoteric and developed than this author's interpretation... the most grievous detail I noted was the association of Pluto with "lack" - what an absolute error for most astrologers!!!! And so NOT Evolutionary!!!! Chiron: The Wisdom of a Deeply Open Heart

Chiron: The wisdom of a Deeply Open Heart
I'm so sorry to have to say this but I did not like this book at all.I felt like screaming on so many occasions and demanding that the author please write in plain English exactly what was on his mind, so that people who lived on this planet could understand what it was he was trying to express. I personally felt that this book was far too airy fairy, and its pages were soggy from the mystical waters from which it seemed it was written under. If your looking for aspect interpretations with relation to Chiron don't look here.If your looking for an explanation of Chiron through the houses and signs this has been covered here but not in a language I'm familiar with. Some might say that I'm being far too critical, but I personally like an astrology book to be thorough, gets to the point, gives clear examples to back up research and is enjoyable to read. This book was none of these things.
