Swear word alert!
Since when did swearing-in Christian movies become okay?! Other than that one instance of swearing, this film has a great message, but it was poorly delivered. The young Amber and the Young doug did a great job of acting, but the older ones were horrible! All I could think was that the wife looked like a hag,and did not fix herself to look enticing to her husband. And of course the mistress looks way younger and more attractive than the wife does. There is no excuse for What doug did, but the wife seriously needed to improve her appearance to keep her husband interested. She was really hard to look at during the whole movie. Always in pajamas and robes, hardly ever dressed, and looking like a hag and an old grandma. Her wig was extremely distracting. I don't think I've ever seen such a bad wig on anyone in a movie! (Spoiler alert:) The ending was good, I feel like Doug got what he deserved. It was a real punch in the gut for him. However I just wish that he would have given her the flowers and told her that he broke it off with the mistress one day sooner. So at least she could have died in peace. Other than that, it was a good film, but it was told like a documentary and I hated that. It was like a docudrama instead of a movie. What was with the going back and forth, and having interviews in the middle of the show? I mean, it was insane! Very poorly delivered. I wish somebody would remake this movie properly. It needs a lot more of a budget, and also to be a real movie instead of a docudrama, where they go back and forth from acting to interviewing the couple. I don't know who decided to do that, but it absolutely stinks, and ruined the film. The only thing good about this movie, was that Doug got his Just Desserts. And also, it does show how life is not a fairytale Romance. That marriage takes hard work to make it last. And that your vows are for life! Whether you feel like you're in love, or out of love, or whatever! Feelings don't matter. Vows do!

A beautiful movie
This movie touched me to my soul! I have never seen any movie like this about marriages in trouble. This movie had heart. This is the story of a husband who was unfaithful to his wife, asked her for a divorce and is just done with her and the marriage. He is into pleasing his mistress. However he agrees to do as the wife asks for 30 days,(no spoiler here)for their young daughter. He agrees and what follows is so deep, true, pure and touching. I almost did not view this movie but I truly believe Jesus wanted me to, and that The Holy Spirit led me to. Afterwards, I thought about my own attitude toward my own marriage and I knew I needed to let old grievances go and let God use me for the time I have left, and we have left, to honestly learn how to love as Jesus loves me. DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE!!! Like the Letter Writer, this movie has a beautiful message. The parts were all played well. Good acting. I love that the Mother and child are Mother and child in real life. Enjoy!!!!

Great message, good film!
Enjoyed the story, encouraged marital faithfulness.Personally thought the format was interesting and good.Well-worth watching and even sharing with others going through similiar situations.Might help us to appreciate our own marriages and the vows (to be a loving and faithful husband/wife in plenty and in want, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health, so long as we both shall live...) that we so eagerly took in the beginning.Don't miss it!

Good Theme; Disturbing Ending
I was looking forward to watching this video; the plot seemed like a good one, and it was supposedly based on a true story, but the ending left me feeling cheated somehow--not that life couldn't have turned out this way, but I felt a bit like someone was toying with my emotions. I won't watch it again. The theme of love conquering all (and of forgiveness winning out over all obstacles) was a worthwhile one. But the way the wife handled the ending was disturbing to me.

One of the most awesome Christian movies I have ever viewed regarding the unconditional love and forgiveness of a spouse for another even in the midst of lies and betrayal. Paris Warner and Pam Eichner gave Oscar performances in their roles as young and adult Amber, and Shawn Danny Shepherd and Shawn Stevens did totally great job of embracing the roles of young and adult Doug. I would recommend that every Christian and non-Christian married or thinking about marriage view this movie. Wow... please make many more just like it. V. Brabson III

If you love a love story
It's a beautiful story, wish all husbands would make a effort to keep there love story going. I have been watching this movie on TCT, so I gave this to my BFF for friendship day this year. She told me she really liked it also. It makes me take a real hard look at my marriage and it also makes me cry every time I watch it. I have seen this 10+ times. Love it Katrina

Must watch for married people, even best to watch together
I think all us married couples could relate to this movie. I cried so much I annoyed myself😂 I too read the story from somewhere, but it was nice to watch in movie.I was thinking the characters would have been better if played by high profile stars. Then I thought better of it. The stars in this movie were ordinary--very relatable for the average audience very real-life❤ God is good all the time🙏

Someone emailed me this story a while ago and loved it very much
Someone emailed me this story a while ago and loved it very much. I was very surprised to find out it was made a movie. This is how marriage works, you can always love your spouse again if life events has changed that. This is a great reminder to keep my promise to my husband and love him until death do us part.Totally recommend it.
