Rich, Authentic Flavor – A Yerba Mate Classic!
Taragüi is my go-to yerba mate — bold, smooth, and full of character. The 1kg pack is great value and lasts a good while, even for daily drinkers like me. I really appreciate that it comes "con palo" (with stick), which gives it a well-balanced, less bitter flavor and makes for a smoother brew. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality Argentine mate, this one is a solid choice. Strongly recommend it for both beginners and seasoned mate drinkers! Pro tip: during hot weather, have it with ice-cold lemonade instead of hot water. We call it "Tereré", and the balance between the lemonade and the yerba is just the perfect summer drink!

The best yerba out there! The real deal
Taragüi is one of the best yerbas I’ve tried. The flavour is strong, smooth, and full-bodied without being overly bitter. It holds up well to multiple refills, and the aroma is really fresh. Perfect for a traditional mate experience — it feels authentic and energising every time. A great choice if you want proper Argentine yerba mate at home.

Powdery and bitterness is strong
I've tried a few brands of Yerba Mate and this one is definitely the strongest bitter taste so far. In terms of benefits this may indicate a good thing but I couldn't say for sure. It's quite a dusty product in comparison to others, but the use by date was 2+ years so I'm assuming this is as the product is and should be. I found I had to use less product otherwise the taste was far too strong. Maybe I'll get used to it, time will tell...

Could be improved
Quite bitter and with a lot of dust. Could be that the export quality is worse than what we have in Argentina?

Taragui Yerba Mate is good
This Loose Leaf Yerba Mate from Argentina situated in Southamerica is not too powdry but okay for me. The taste? Different than Selecta from Paraguay but am okay with the taste of Taragui Yerba Mate from Argentina.
