Organic Dark Rye Flour, 20 ounce (Pack of 4)

Good flour. Use to enhance my sourdough starter. Makes a big difference. If your starter is sluggish this will give it the kick it needs.(for real) just use a large enough container, mine will triple in 4-6 hours every time using 50/50 bread flour/this rye. Will be trying sourdough rye bread next…yum!

Excellent product. I used this dark rye flour to make authentic German rye bread; Volkorn brot.It blended into the dough very nicely with great rye flavor.

Purchased this multiple times. I love Bob's Organic Dark Rye - sometimes hard to find in stores. We use this for making sourdough bread, and it works fabulously for a starter that is a bit "off" or weak to grow. A shot of this will make the sourdough starter strong and fully functioning in less than a day. The price is frequently lower here than in the store.

This 4 pack of Bob's Rye flour was perfect for my first sourdough rye bread experiment. The bread came out perfect. I gave one pack to a friend for her to try. This made a great gift. Great idea to divide the flour into four packs. The rye flour makes a great tasting bread for grilled cheese and other savory combanations. Delicious!

I use this for my starters, and it works very well for that. I like the small size because it is practical and easy to store. I also like that I can reseal it, which helps keep it fresh. The fact that it is organic is a needed plus.
