Remington Hair Straightener, Extra-Slim Ceramic Plates, S5515

These are great for my short hair, having extra slim plates makes it really easy to straighten my fringe. I have fine hair and find the temp. control means they don't get too hot. I am very happy with these straighteners

Compared this online with other makes and styles and was recommended to go for the slim plates for short hair, my hair is a jaw length bob. Really pleased. So easy to use. My hair is coloured so I only use 160 heat and it only takes a few seconds to heat up and just glides through. Takes no time at all!

I like that you can set the temperature easily but not so good that you have to set it each time you use it. It suits shorter hair , but not sure if it would be suitable for lon hair as it is very narrow. The effect does seem to last well on my awkward hair ( dead straight). All in all I am pleased with this item, either the price being reasonable as well.

These Remington straighteners with Extras Slim plate have made such a difference to how I style my hair. I have a short bob and found these really easy to use. Very versatile regarding hairstyles I have been able to achieve with these. I have curled my hair, waved it, and straightened it. I have flicked it , basically just tried various looks with them. They are great on my fringe too. They are lightweight, they heat up quickly, digital temperature setting which is easy to see, decent length cord, on/off button. I have not burnt my fingers so the design is good. Honestly they are excellent. Over the years I have tried numerous brands of straighteners for my hair. Never knew extra slim plates even existed, they have totally changed how I style my hair. Basically because they make styling my hair easy. I can get to the roots easily and the style stays in, no dropping of curls. I love them !!!!

As a hairdresser I use my straighteners every day! I have numerous other sizes and brands and these are great for men’s hair but also for longer hair adding curls that last all day! I didn’t want to spend a fortune as I don’t use this size all the time but they are great for the price!

I’m growing my hair out, from very short, it’s now at the awkward stage, needed to rain it in a bit. These straighteners are perfect, very slim and heat up quickly. Come with a little sleeve to keep them in.

A bit disappointed as the reviews said this was ok for short hair. I find it rather bulky. Good value but should probably specify that it might be tricky to style short hair
