Looks good and fun to build
The instructions were not the most clear to follow, but it went together OK and was fun to build.

15 year old happy with it
Bought this for my 15 year old, he generally had Lego but wanted something a bit different. It is a little small, but he is happy with it and it is useful to explain how an internal combustion engine works - not sure how they will replicate this for electric vehicles though, just a car with a battery in it?

A great build!
I am a real Lego fan and have built a Haynes V8 engine previously. Having read some of the reviews I wasn't sure whether to buy this. I am so glad I did! I was impressed that the seller sent a message to check all was well. It uses traditional Lego type parts although there were a few I hadn't seen before (parts that clicked in together) The quality is superb and the unit is compact. Great educational fun at a great price. I wasn't sure if it would work but it did beautifully!

Ok as long as you don't turn it on!
This is not lego, so don't expect the same quality. (granted, the price is not Lego either, but I would still expect it to work). Due to some parts fitting tightly and other parts too loose, this thing pulls itself apart not long after being turned on. Of course the bits that come loose are right in the middle with no hope of fixing unless you take it all apart again, no thanks. Ok as a stationary model on a shelf, but do yourself a favour and don't switch it on!

Great to know how the internals move
Great kit for the young budding mechanic

A good first step.
Mostly straightforward but gives you enough of a challenge to feel you've achieved something. It's my first moving build so have got the confidence to move on now. All pieces were in the pack but if hadn't been wasn't sure where to reorder them as with Lego.

Keeping my dad busy
This is keeping my engineer dad busy. He has worked on engines all his life and is having fun with this now he's in his late 70s.
