Made in the USA! It is so hard to find made in the USA now- one reason to love Step 2! This is one of the only hot tub steps with handrails and with a towel hook, actually 2 hooks, one on each side! No more running outside cold without a towel! Very easy to put together- in fact my 13 yr dtr did the majority of the work! Instructions were easy to understand, we did end up using a drill with the screws. Very sturdy and durable! My favorite feature is the storage in the second step- holding all the chemicals, strips, etc, no more carboard boxes hiding on the porch. It is surprising how much it holds and there is even a hole at the bottom for water to drain. Steps are a perfect height to get in and out of the hot tub, and I no longer feel I am going to slip out and fall. Wonderful product!

This product is so nice and sturdy! It was fairly easy to assemble I just used my husbands tools and followed the instructions. It took me maybe 15 minutes. It fits the hot tub area perfectly and is nice and sturdy. I love that it has the storage step because our hot tub supplies have been taking up space in our cupboard for awhile! The hooks on the sides to hang towels is also a super nice feature.

Step2 products are pretty stable, this one went together just like one of their kid's toys. There were a few places the screws couldn't grab the plastic but overall it came together easily. It's stable for what we're asking of it and the storage area is roomy. The steps are wide enough to pit a little foot bath right on it to keep dirt out of your hot tub. Would work for a stock tank pool, too!

I'm surprised at how difficult it is to find a heavy-duty pair of hot tub steps with sides that serve as handles. Everybody seems to sell non-connected handles, which doesn't help if you step on the steps at an angle, and the steps slide out under you. However, with these, you can hold onto the steps themselves, which support your weight and also prevent them from sliding. This also allows you to know where the steps end, eliminating the possibility of slipping off or encountering other types of falling hazards due to wet feet or a wet surface under the steps. These are also large and heavy-duty, and seem to be the only product on the market that provides all these key features. I'd give it 10 stars if I could because it's light years beyond any other competing product. The only downside is one of the instructions for screwing in the screws on the underside of the bottom step. First off, you should be using a drill to screw everything together. However, in this day and age, almost everybody has one, especially those buying furniture that needs to be assembled, like this, although it's not exactly furniture. So in order to screw the bottom step into the face of the steps, you need to find something to wedge into the storage compartment to press the wall up against the step in order for the drill and screw to puncture and pull into the face. Otherwise the screw won't puncture and dedinately won't pull into the face causing the two surfaces to stay separated and you need that secured. I'd suggest using a paint can with a textbook or a similarly sized object to wedge into the storage compartment, providing the right amount of leverage as it presses up against the step. Then screw in the bottom step and tighten to pull the two surfaces together, then remove the paint can. It's a great dual color as well.

The finished product as you can see from the photo is nice and heavy. Seems sturdy. The assembly however was an absolute nightmare. The instructions were not clear and missing steps. There were screws that needed to be screwed in, but no screw holes. You basically had to use a hammer to get them started and if you were lucky you could get them screwed in. They would go through the first layer of plastic and then not into the next which would cause the two pieces to push apart. It was frustrating and turned what should have been an easy one person job into a two person job that took over an hour just to put in like 15 screws. Would not have purchased if I knew it would be that complicated.

I love these steps, very durable easy to put together. The storage in the top shelf also comes in handy

Great steps and the storage box part of it is great because it's deep enough to hold cleaning and spray bottles upright. An improvement might be some sort of towel rack feature on the side.

Sturdy, well built, tons of storage and actual stainless steel hardware so no possibility of rust! Overall great size and durability, and it’s aesthetically pleasing to boot!! We bought to use with our hot tub as we liked the storage aspect and actually ended up setting up near our small 12’x6’7” 26”deep pool and it was PERFECT!
