Better than Bluetooth
I recently allowed my satellite radio subscription to end. I did not enjoy the selections enough for the high cost to be worth it. And, I have Anazon Prime, so I decided to make a change. I use 3 different devices in my car - an iPod (yes, an mp3 player, for a less expensive device at the gym), an iPhone 6, and an iPad Air 2. As they can not all be connected to bluetooth at once, I had to set this up a lot of the times. But, my main irritation is that my radio would default to Sirrius FM commercials every time I turned my car on. So, I wanted the AUX plug so it was either silence or music. The cable length is perfect. The cable is also nice because it still handles both giving directions and playing music well - in addition to charging the device. It does mot bother me that the controls are not on my steering wherl because I am limiting my selection to songs that I like and I can look and see the song information on a different screen if I want. Note that the sound quality depends on the device. It sounds spectacular on my iPad and awful on my iPod (so much for it being my main music device in the car). So, I am taking off one star due to the less sound quality as compared to Bluetooth which is free and for costing being pricey when again Bluetooth is free.Downgrading to 2 stars. Within a week, the USB portion stopped working reliably. So, now I use the audio portion and a different lightening charging cord instead. That is all this is and most likely you have these laying around or can this do this cheaper. If you use Amazon Prime for car audio, it now has Alexa, so that you can contro audio by voice.

The charger stinks
Unfortunately this is the only adapter I could find on Amazon that fits my car and iPhone 6. The good news is that the adapter syncs with my stereo as advertised. The bad news is that you have to constantly wiggle the plug going into the iPhone until it shows the phone charging. Then you have to carefully put your phone in a position so that it and the chord don't move and inch. I don't understand how the charging chord could be so loose going into my iPhone from the very first day I used it.

Ok, but not great
Worked well at first. Now we have to jiggle the jack or keep press ion it for the sound to come through. Not happy with it after just 2-3 months!

Works. Thank goodness.
This was great. It is long enough to snake through to the cubby under the radio, and works well. The combination of the two outputs makes an iPod/iPhone charge and runs the sound through the car speaker system. Using only the aux cable makes any device's sound run through the car speaker system (Android etc.) Could not control iPod through steering wheel controller buttons. Doubt they use this system still, but if you get a used Hyundai that has the iPod/aux cable option this is the tool to fixing your confused troubles.
