Dave Ramsey for the win!

I am a Dave Ramsey FAN!!! He has helped me budget and focus more on "baby step" goals - it has eliminated so much stress in my life you cannot believe it. I have removed so much debt from my life, prioritized expenses, made life changes... HIGHLY recommend!!! It did come with his envelope system - I do NOT like that, did not work for me as the paper envelopes ripped, I went to a mesh/fabric envelope system and it works better for me. FYI - I bought this used - Even this messes with Dave's income from sales of his books, I am sure he would approve.

I had been looking for something like this for a long time. I had read book, after book, but none of them give you the step by step guidance that Dave R. gives you. I was proud to know I was doing some of the steps, and was happy to learn the rest. I wished I had gotten this as a wedding gift 15 years ago or had learned it in H.S. before I went out to the real world.

As a current college student, I recommend this for ANYONE needing help getting a jump on financial responsibility. I love the confidence this program gives you to take control and fix any current financial problems you have, or fix and avoid any future financial issues! Straight forward, in your face and easy to follow. I also recommend taking this in a class setting, where you can hear real-life success stories and share your journey with others!

Was a little disappointed in that the hardback book that came with it is different from the current book being used. I am enrolled in a local FPU but my friend wasn't able to attend so I purchased this for her. But it's not the exact same material.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to get out of debt or wanting to organize their financial life by creating a budget and setting goals. It was easy to listen to Dave Ramsey, he's funny and thoughtful. Everything made sense to us and we did the program independently, there were local groups having classes but we couldn't commit due to our evening schedules...
