I chose this particular 8 pack for a project I was doing with my kids. We made leather journals. It came with 8 colors, all earth tones, and a tube of sharp and blunt needles. It is definitely a bargain for all you get. The threads are strong and slide smoothly without catching. The needles pushed through the tough leather covers and paper. I would recommend the thread and needles for any project needing a strong, smooth, waxed thread. The bonus of the needle collection was great, too!

It has worked for project number 1 so far so let's see how it works for project number 2 and so on. I unsed this to repair the stitching that broke at the toe of my moccasins and had started to unwind. There was a thread that matched the color almost perfectly and the thickness and the texture of the thread was perfect. I did find that a regular sewing needle was better for fitting into the holes of the moccasins than the ones that came with the kit, but I'm sure they will be useful latter.

Needle selection was broad and I probably will not use many of the larger ones but who knows. Everything works well. Thread seems good quality and waxed and it looks good and seems sturdy and long lasting in my saddle stitches. I like all of it and would recommend it to other users, especially folks just starting out with stitching leather.

I did my first wallet with this product and turn out as expected. Good quality and value.

Thread and needles came in a tidy little box, with the needles inside a little test tube. Works great for storage! Quality is surprisingly good for such a cheap product and makes an excellent value for those just getting into leather sewing. NOTE: For hand-sewing leather you HAVE to use a punch to create the holes to sew through! I've been using the Aiskaer Diamond Chisel set successfully with this thread~ Overall, great purchase-- would buy again!

This thread is perfect. There is a good amount on each spool , and the colors are gorgeous!! the whole package is very much worth it, I will buy again! 🌞☺️🌞

The needles seem to be of a softer metal than other name brand needles. They do not hold up well to needle nose pliers as my other needles by a different company did. Thread seems nice and a good selection of colors.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME. The reason I got this set is because I needed needles and I thought maybe it would be good to have some more thread on hand. There are 12 needles in here in sets of three all made for different weights of leather and styles of stitching. Plus the waxed thread is really great heavy gage saddle thread. If you know someone who is starting out in leather working this is a great gift. If you are an old dusty codger like me I say get 2 so you have an extra set on hand for different tasks.
