Nice keyboard and well worth it.
I did enjoys this as my first keyboard while learning piano. It’s a good size and portable for a 76 key piano. It’s has many voices and the key action is really not bad in my novice opinion. The sound is great and all in all a really nice keyboard. My piano teacher remarked “ this is a really nice keyboard”. I had a lot of fun with this keyboard and it was light enough to transport to class every week as well as play on battery power on my porch or deck or anywhere really. I eventually traded it in at guitar center for a Roland fp30x because I was/am much more now into an 88 key “piano” with weighted keys and all that. But in all honesty this keyboard would serve me well for far longer into my piano journey. So yes, I do think this is a great keyboard and you will have great fun making music with it. It is so much fun to play around wall the different sounds also, my Roland is more like just piano and much more limited in how many voices (instruments) it can mimic. By the way I traded it in at guitar center for about half of what I paid for it on Amazon, which was pretty reasonable to begin with. Considering the fun and experience I had with it. It was we worth it and I really could be still playing and learning with it if I didn’t upgrade.

Great Sound and Perfect for Beginners and Beyond
This Yamaha keyboard has exceeded my expectations. The touch-sensitive keys feel very natural and respond well to different playing dynamics, which makes practicing much more enjoyable. The sound quality is excellent, with realistic tones and a good variety of voices and styles to choose from. The keyboard also has great sturdiness, it feels solid and well-built while still being lightweight and easy to move around. That makes it perfect as a portable instrument for home or practice sessions. The built-in learning features are also a big plus for beginners, while the advanced functions keep it interesting for more experienced players. Overall, it’s a great value for the price. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a reliable portable keyboard, I highly recommend this Yamaha model.

Very nice.
This keyboard is much more versatile than my fingers as it turns out, so I have some catching up to do. Sounds good to my ears. Easy to learn functions. Light weight. A good beginner's to intermediate keyboard.

Great Purchase
For the money, this is a great keyboard. I'm not a professional, but have played the piano for over 70 years. My Baldwin is no longer available and I needed something I could play the "outside" world couldn't hear. The touch is adjustable and key reaction feels good. The keys react to my touch-if I want louder I play harder. I haven't explored all the options but seems easy to program and use. I'm glad I got the 76 key model. It isn't something you give much thought to after playing a full piano keyboard, but you'd be surprised how much of the keyboard you do use!! Also, I bought a Yamaha sustain pedal and it is GREAT. The only suggestion I have is the plugin for the headset should be in front, otherwise you are going over the keyboard or around and it has a tendency to get caught under the keyboard. If you're not using a stand, measure the height of the table (or whatever you are using) and add the height measurement of the instrument and adjust for your comfortable playing height. I bought a booster seat to accommodate for the playing comfort. Easier on my arms, wrists and shoulders. The sound is wonderful. I would recommend this product. Good for a beginner, but great for those of us who have experience and play for our own enjoyment.

A worthy introductory keyboard.
I bought this keyboard for my 7 year old grandson's birthday and he & his siblings love it. Although he's just beginning piano lessons, he's able to use this one at home to practice. They love to tinker with it's on-board rhythmic tunes for improptue jam & dance sessions. I also bought a matching 'X' keyboard stand & bench set to keep it off the floor. It's a good introductory instrument that won't frustrate a child (or adult) because it sounds great, and has proper key function and feel.

Great Value
Yamaha has created an incredible product that equals other brands costing hundreds of dollars more. The price is so affordable that it’s hard to believe

Yamaha keyboard
Good keyboard, very lite through. Great for a beginner good quality sounds, plus there still so much to discover here. So far I’m satisfied. I gave it the 4 stars because it’s lite and when you pick it up it feels cheap but it’s doesn’t perform cheap at all.

Exactly what I wanted
Exactly what I was looking for - I wanted a keyboard to generate audio standalone (like just jam on a keyboard), but also be a midi controller for a computer (the DAW I'm using is Reaper) to control electronic instruments, and to have an auxiliary-in for my Korg Volca Drums. This device does have a USB connection to connect to your computer, you can download a driver and have it recognized by common DAWs without a problem (again, I use Reaper). The USB carries BOTH audio signals and midi signals, so your computer audio can be sent out through the keyboard speakers (or headset hooked up to the keyboard). It can also act as a rudimentary audio interface where the audio from Aux-in can be captured (though, quality workable but subpar when doing it this way). A better set up is to have audio out from the keyboard to a proper audio interface (I'm using the Onyx Producer 2x2). In order to do this you need to navigate into the menu with the function key (there's youtube videos on how to do this). It also has the ability to teach songs and help with the basics of piano. At this point I'm 10/10 thrilled with this purchase and think this device is a strong buy for anyone with a beginner interest in paino/keys or midi and music making.
